Here’s my birthday layout. It’s based on AussieMeg’s sketch.

I mix straight and round corners on one page. You're a wild woman! I just remembered, I have a gnome die that I used to make a page in my December album. I made Maccabees out of them for Hanukkah omg, that is so FREAKING AMAZING!!!!! I'm so doing that next Hanukkah!

I don't get gnomes, either. The only gnome paper I have is the St. Patrick's Day line- they make cute leprechauns. They make cute elves for Christmas, too, but I have so much Christmas paper I didn't get that line. But random gnomes are just not my thing.

Was thinking all I would need to turn the gnomes I have into leprechauns would be top hats and shamrocks. Might be able to fussy cut some from the papers I still have from the old BoBunny Lucky line from years ago. That colour green doesn't seem to work for me.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

Well, that’s one way of putting it. LOL. I find them...odd. I thinks that’s the word. Thankfully the scrappy/card making/papercrafting world has lots of other options. And I know this because I own far too many of them. Ha.

I'm going to type fast and then run for cover. I love the gnomes. I didn't jump on the bandwagon at first, but now - must have all the gnomes! I have zero clue why. I think they're cute. As an added bonus, my preteen daughter dislikes them so playfully annoying her is fun. (It's what we do...nothing malicious and she always annoys me right back with a smile.) I bought a bunch of the Photoplay papers with gnomes. The Crafting with my Gnomies line has been preordered. I think part of the appeal is a close friend (both is friendship level and proximity) loves gnomes too. I suppose I could try to blame her on my gnome love. Plus, we both bought the gnomes from IKEA for Christmas. And sets to give another friend and my mom. We've named them after my grandparents and I may have started an IG for them. I'm home alone all day. I need something to get my butt out of my chair! www.instagram.com/bettyandharoldthegnomes/

There are many "crafty" motifs to which I have no connection and just don't use! -Gnomes is just the current one - but there is a long line from anything with google eyes, inanimate objects with smiley face, any sort of BUG (including butterflies) to llamas, foxes an/or any other "cute woodland creature."

Gnomes are definitely not my thing, and I think I'm fairly literal in my embellishing so I can only imagine using them on garden pages. I have a zombie gnome in my garden currently - my husband gave it to my for my birthday years ago because he hates traditional garden gnomes since everyone has one where we live. An ex housemate used to have a gnome with an axe through his head who she named Seamus after an ex boyfriend. He's the only garden gnome I've ever kind of liked. I think I'd like the axe gnome. I really should name my gnome.

This means husband likes gnomes too! 😂

I ordered this page kit from Hey Kid and just did it for Christmas 2020- I figured that since we had to stay close to home due to Covid the theme of "Gnome for the Holidays" was a good fit. It turned out adorable! Soooo cute! Hey Kid kit "Gnome for the Holidays"So I'm definitely gnome-curious and gnome-willing, but I don't think I would know how to start adding random gnomes to all of my pages. I'm not that good of a scrapbooker.

My 2020 December Daily was done using Cocoa Daisy 2019 December kits featuring gnomes by Linou’s Pots. I love her artwork and her gnomes are very cute. This was one of my favorite DD albums to date. I think gnomes are very homey creatures and it was perfect for staying at home season we had last year.

I finally put my gnome stickers down on a page and I thought I'd share it here. They're garden gnomes, and it's a gardening page, so they're appropriate (and hopefully not too creepy, lol )

msliz, I think your garden page turned out great. Those gnomes are definitely cute, not creepy (in my book, anyway)!
