I know we have a lot of sports fans here. What sports are you a fan of?
The main sport I follow is figure skating. I have been a fan for many years. This has been a tough season due to covid. Hopefully by next fall things will be able to move ahead more normally.
I also enjoy watching hockey, and I'm interested in other winter sports as well. I find biathlon just fascinating.
I love the Olympics, winter more so than summer, but I will always watch either one.
I'm also a tennis fan, mainly on the men's side.

NBA here. Once DS was heavily into basketball, we started watching Toronto Raptor games. Now with him done, we only watch Raptor games and usually the playoffs once they start.

NCAA men's basketball and football are my absolute favorites.
Can't wait for March Madness - I'll be on the couch for days on end, watching as many games as I can!
My DS played serious travel and collegiate soccer. I never understood the game until he started and I've grown to love it as well. Need to find a favorite team/league now that he's done playing.

I mainly follow German football - what you call soccer - and support FC Bayern München, the first division team from Munich. I also watch the Olympics when they are on, both summer and winter. I tend towards some of the sports that don’t get an outing most of the rest of the time - equestrian and kayaking/canoeing in the summer; luge, biathlon and ski jumping in the winter. I also like the figure skating.

Take me out to the ballgame. A day at the yard is just the best! We have an awesome ball park and it's a treat to go to games.
I love figure skating, as well.
I used to be a die hard hockey fan and we have a good team. I should get back into it. I loved going to hockey games, too. Have you heard the phrase, "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out"?

My dream is to hit many of the mlb parks and some of the minors. Once we are allowed back in of course

NFL and I do enjoy figure skating especially during the olympics. I am a fan of college football too but only---lol-- the DIII team my nephew coaches. They were supposed to have a spring season but that's off. So I am anxiously awaiting the fall. I don't mind Hockey or BB BUT I cannot watch them on TV. I find it boring

Cycling - particularly men's cycling but I also keep up with Kate Courtney who is a women's mountain biker. College football, specifically the SEC; a little NFL; and I always watch the Olympics.

Running, especially the world marathon majors. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been the best year for road races (or lots of other sports).
DS goes to a Big10 school so we often watch their football and basketball games on TV (we live 1,000 miles away so have only attended a couple in person, so much fun though!)
I love watching the Olympics, both summer and winter. Figure skating, gymnastics, bobsledding, luge, ski jumping, track and field, marathon... love it all!
I’m from Boston, so obviously we have a lot of serious sports fans here. I follow the Red Sox and Patriots more than the Bruins and Celtics. We have Fenway’s Green Monster wall painted on the wall of our family room. ❤️

Hockey. We had season tickets for our local IHL/AHL/UHL Minor league hockey team way back in the 90’s. Then we moved to the D/FW area and went to Dallas Stars games. I used to closely follow Detroit Redwings “The Russian Five” Fedorov, Konstantinov, Kozlov, Fetisov, Larionov. Their command and control of the puck changed American Hockey. When all 5 were on the same line they were amazing to watch. Vladdie’s career ending limousine accident was heartbreaking.
Our grandson plays hockey, so I watch his games via FB live and Live Barn - does that count? LOL
I used to watch Olympic Ice skating. I loved the ice dancing the best. Torvill and Dean were the absolute best.

I'm a die-hard NHL hockey fan (Capitals) and that is the #1 sport I watch. DH will watch with me but is not into it anywhere near as much as I am. We both also follow MLB baseball and enjoy MLB games (but not as avidly as other sports). Love attending both of these sports in person (when we can afford it, and pre-Covid, obviously)! Together DH and I are very much into watching NCAA men's football (he's a Gator fan & I'm an OSU Buckeye, and we support each other's teams too), World Cup soccer, Olympics (mainly the winter sports), some European soccer & rugby, & other various sports once in a while. Never basketball for me (DH will watch a tiny bit of March Madness, especially if the Gators are up) and very rarely NFL football. freecharlie, I'd join you in that sojourn to as many MLB parks as I can get to (always been a dream of mine)! I've actually been to Coors Field (nice ballpark) - we took in a Nationals v. Rockies game when we were there for a family reunion years ago. I think we tried to get tickets in the purple row, LOL, but I can't remember for sure. I've been to Fenway (yay!), KC Royals park, Nationals park (& several games at old RFK stadium in the Nats first few years), both Memorial Park & Camden Yards for the Orioles (before DC had MLB), and the old Cincinnati Reds field. So, it's a start, but I have a long way to go.

It was the Capitals that the Redwings swept in the SCF that year too (when the Wings won the Cup) - both DH & I remember watching that series. We had high hopes, but the Redwings were a force to be reckoned with an the Caps could not even come close to matching it.

Had seats on the club level right next to the announcers’ box, really enjoyed it!

We are a huge sports family here. Right now I am watching curling and dh is watching golf. We watcha ton of hockey, all Ottaw Senators games, most Toronto and Edmonton games too. I watch NFL and NBA when the Raptors are playing and playoffs. I also watch tennis, the major PGA tournaments and the Olympics. My favourite is MLB I try to watch most Blue Jays games.
Pre pandemic we had season tickets to our CFL Canadian Football League team and our Junior (OHL) hockey team. We would go to 2 or 3 Jays game a season and have seen The Raptors play in Toronto and Orlando.
My dd played competitive hockey from 7 to 17. My ds has played hockey, football, tackle and touch, high school and travel basketball and All-star baseball. We do a family bracket contest for March Madness and friendly bet on a lot of games.

NHL, for sure. I was raised a Penguins fan, but now I'm a converted Capitals fan since moving to the area. We've gone to two minor league hockey games on anniversary trips; the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Saddledome, and more minor league games are on our list of things to do once it's safe to do so again. My work gives every employee 2 courtside (2nd row) tickets to Wizards games every year, but that hasn't happened recently for obvious reasons.

My blood is black and silver, huge Spurs fan. We had season tickets for several years before we decided to become grown ups, move outside the city and buy a house. Boo. We are a big sports couple in general, and will go to a live game any chance we get. It’s one of the very first things we look at when planning a trip, even saw the Knights in Las Vegas. Many of our trips have been just to see a game. We go to the Spurs games, of course, and until we lost our semipro hockey team to Las Vegas we’d go to those games. We travel to Houston for the Astros and Texans, and will go to a Rockets game if we like the visiting team. And sometimes in Dallas we will catch a Stars or Rangers game, and again, see the Mavs to pull for the opposing team. Been to a few NFL games, a couple times to see the Steelers when they were within 10 hours. So, Houston and New Orleans. They played Dallas in Dallas this year and we were sooo disappointed not to be able to go. One of these days I will get DH to a game in Pittsburgh. And my team is/was Washington and he grew up in DFW so is a secondary Cowboys fan and we got to see them play each other once. That was so fun. And we saw Nelson Mandela on our way out of the game. We also go with my family to some Texas Stars games in Austin. Growing up he used to bike to Rangers games. And I loved and breathed the NFL and NCAA baseball and we went to the College World Series every year. Every now and again we go see the Longhorns play. Had made a plan to go more often with my brother, then 2020 happened. The only major sport in the US I don’t really enjoy is golf. Never on TV, but in person was pretty boring for me as well. I’ll go and drive the cart when DH plays though. And his mom volunteers at tournaments in Dallas which we’ve gone to a couple do times. For her birthday one year he took her to the PGA Championship and they both really enjoyed that. I was happy to volunteer to stay home and let them bond On TV I’ll watch NBA, some NFL, MLB or hockey but those are pretty rare these days since I don’t really watch TV in general due to hearing, vision and attention issues. And the Olympics. Live gymnastics and figure skating esp. Oh, and duh...he’s a triathlete so most years we travel all but a couple of months to events. He’s registered for a half Ironman in Atlantic City later in the year, we'll see if we are able to do that. The last big event before the pandemic was Boulder for his first half-Ironman distance and we went to see the Rockies play. Sigh. I really miss going to his races and games.

I don't follow any sports as closely as I used to. DH was a hockey player and wanted to watch games regularly. Then the lock out happened. We switched to college hockey from there but games were rarely televised on channels we got at the time. We still try to go to college games when we can but some ticket prices have gotten out of control. We used to go to GLI every year.
Today, the extent of our following is checking scores, checking on the pairwise rankings and making guesses as to who will win the Frozen 4.
Beyond that, I couldn't tell you who plays what sport.

When I worked for USAA they had a box for the Spurs, but I was never lucky enough to get those seats. Got tickets from them for a couple of PGA tournaments DH was happy about though.
