We’ve done them but haven’t filed. We always owe so we file at the last minute, the government can wait for our money.

I haven't received all of my documents but I've already done a draft. I'll e-file them the second I've confirmed all of the numbers. Us too

It's on my to-do list for a first pass this weekend. I lost two of my dependents this year so I am expecting a hit. I lost one and our state deduction for 529 account

We just did ours and because we didn’t get the 2nd stimulus we are getting a tiny refund. So happy to not be paying this year!

No. Ugh. Usually they are pretty straightforward but this year I sold a bunch of stock. Regardless I usually wait until April to do them since we usually owe.

We have to wait until the end of March since that is when we get three of out tax documents. Last year they came in April.

We have to wait until the end of March since that is when we get three of out tax documents. Last year they came in April. I hate waiting on stuff! Most forms have to be sent by the end of January or February 15. I wait on K1's. K1's can't be sent until that companies taxes are done. It sucks because our tax deadline is the end of February, not April 15. I usually end up calling them and having them email me my documents.

Yes, I did them on 2/1 and had my state refund 3 days later. Federal refund came in on 2/18.

Yep! Did them as soon as I had the docs. Irs started accepting returns Feb 12 and I got my refund on the 24th! I filed mine on the 13th and they were accepted on the 14th and i haven’t received my refund yet! I should go check. I should try filing them myself one of these days. They’re pretty straightforward and I paid $300 for HRBlock to do them. Or I should check on the senior center! ETA - yay! The refunds were in my account on the 24th. I thought I’d get a notice that they were deposited like I did when they were filed and accepted. So if you’re waiting on a notification, check your account!

No, I have had to wait for a corrected form to come in the mail. I am hoping to do them in the next couple of weeks.

Yes because we lost a lot of money last year and I don't want to lose out on the stimulus check yet again.

I just submitted mine yesterday. Federal was accepted at 5 pm and state at 5 am 😳. I was on a furlough day so I figured I might as well get them finished up.

Ours are done but I don’t think they are filed yet. If not they will get filed this weekend.

I’ve done them but will wait until April to file. I will get back $4 from my federal return and owe $1 to the state so I’m not in a huge hurry.

Not yet. The K-1 forms won't show up for a while -- usually we need an extension.
My son filed his weeks ago and already has his refund, which includes his stimulus money. First year without him as a dependent.

Done, filed and waiting on our return. We intentionally pay in a little more so we won’t ever have to cough up a bunch of money. We got really hammered one year and don’t want to have that happen again.

I am just waiting on my final RRSP statement, but I did everything else. I am proud of myself, I have a lot of anxiety around my taxes, even though it is quite silly- I very much like to procrastinate on this until the deadline and I was more anxious than usual to file this year. I am actually getting some money back even, which I did not expect.

I have an appointment on Friday. I’m expecting to owe a lot from a couple of changes, because of filing status and income being high with salary and pension plus extra refunds and interest on investments. I’m hoping it’s not worse than I expected at the federal level; state doesn’t tax my pension so that should not be as bad.

According to the IRS website it's been received but still in process. We've never had it take this long for our refund. I'm hopeful we'll see it next Friday.

Ours are due on Monday. Did the final meeting with our CPA on Thursday and will drop in on Monday to sign the papers and write a check to the state for about 30K ... ouch. Came out ok on the Federal side. Taxes start hard for me at the end of December. That is when we have to get things figured out to know if we need to spend big $ in December or January. That makes Christmas fun. Not. Still missing one K1. I had to call and have them email it to me. ummm...I guess I won't complain when we owe $3000 Yikes! 😨

We listened to our financial advisors about 20 years ago who suggested we invest in some buildings. We got tax write offs for the investment, but they were only supposed to last for 10 years. They still haven't sold off two of the three buildings 20 years later (one sold last month), and they for some reason always send their information late March. Not sure why they get to do this, but it has always been this way. Our tax lady knows we will be her last clients and has been great about this.

No because my husband's work has been crazy. Half of the people who work in his department work in Texas and obviously couldn't work last week. They're the critical response team for North America at his big tech company.
My husband has a BS in accounting, so he always does the taxes and e files. Because of the stock options he gets, our taxes aren't easy to file.
