I love the Pilot Dr. Grip Retractable Rolling Ball Gel Pen, Fine Point. I found these when I was in school a few years ago and I could write for days without my hand cramping up. I have them scattered around my house and a small collection at work, too.

These are my fave too! they write so smooth and are nice to hold. I prefter the needle point ones but the medium point ones are good too. I have 2 sets of pink ones that I keep buying the refills for, so that way I know its my pen and no one else at work has them so I will know if one walks away.

I love Uniball Jetstream pens! These are a pleasure to write with. So smooth.
At work, the G2 in a .38 tip works much better for my needs though.
There is another, but I can never remember the name. The ink is incredible. Really hard to find refills.

I didn’t know it was an option until I was looking it now. It’s what’s available in the office. They write so nicely.

I love colored ink pens. Inkjoy is my favorite ballpoint. I use Flair pens for classroom stuff.

Another fan of the Uniball Jet Stream pens.
I also like fountain pens and fine-line Pitt markers.

Pentel RSVP in purple, always in purple. I will use fine or medium but find myself reaching for medium if both are near. And another kind was just recommended to me by someone who also loves these, and since I wanted some with lots of color options for a gratitude journal I ordered them. Pilot Acroball. Has anyone tried them?

Pilot G2 in .7 point. Preferably in black but I’ll deal with blue.

Inkjoy, Pentel and Flair. I wrote constantly when I worked and developed a bit of a pen problem. Because I’m a lefty and write upside down basically, not all pens work for me. And now I’m retired and have a boatload of pens. 🤦♀️

My favorite pens are Flair pens. I love the felt tip, and they have awesome colors.
As a lefty, any kind of ballpoint pens gets gunked up pretty quickly. (I say that it's because a lefty pushes towards the ball rather than pulls away from it.)

I’m probably the only one who loves a bold point pen. My fav is Bic Velocity gel pens with a bold point. I’ve used them for years and have one in my purse at all times.

Uniball Vision Elite MicroI tried this a few months ago after reading that it is Obama's favorite pen. I will try anything a lefty recommends! It is lovely and glides like butter.

Pilot G2 and Papermate Inkjoy. I like clickable pens because I don't want to deal with caps.

TUL are my favorite, too. I just posted on other thread about them. You can also find them on amazon and WalMart. ( below copied from other thread to enable more here) I've only ran across the gold and silver metallic inks in the past and we loved them. Great for art/scrapbooking/dark paper. Sad when they ran dry from use. They are currently $33.95 on amazon but !!Enabler alert!!! for pen lovers... metallic ink set of 8 TUL pens on sale $14.99 + 20% off coupon
I just ordered online and will be picking up curbside.

These pens are nothing special but they are my favorite They write smoothly and are the correct weight for me, they last a long time and are inexpensive. Bic Cristal Pens - I prefer blue

Current favorites:
Ink Joy gel retractable in Black—writes super smoothly and very dark black
Frixion erasable retractable in .7 Navy—nice dark blue and erases easily (great for planners and calendars when appointments constantly change)
Bic Cristal in Blue—very smooth basic ball point

What is the difference between needle point and medium point? Is needle point thinner? Like fine point? I may have to get one of each! I like trying out pens, but they probably don't have "samples" out to try becasue of covid.
