Uniball Vision Elite MicroI tried this a few months ago after reading that it is Obama's favorite pen. I will try anything a lefty recommends! It is lovely and glides like butter. If it's Obama's favorite pen, I will have to get it for my daughter! She is 17 and Obama is her favorite!

Pilot G2 and Papermate Inkjoy. I like clickable pens because I don't want to deal with caps. I don't like to deal with caps either. But in my husband's study, I like to put the "free" cap pens because that man loves to make noise. He clicks his pen, he taps and shuffles his feet, etc. So no click pens for him! He can use his click pens at work!

These pens are nothing special but they are my favorite They write smoothly and are the correct weight for me, they last a long time and are inexpensive. Bic Cristal Pens - I prefer blue Those are what we had as kids! We used to love to look and see what level the ink was!

The Sharpie S-Gel pens are my new favorite. I normally like a fine point but love these in the 0.7, writes so smoothly. I also have the 0.38...such a fine tip. Love them both.

For everyday use, I like the Pilot Frixion erasable pens. I do prefer a finer point on pens though.

These are my fave too! they write so smooth and are nice to hold. I prefter the needle point ones but the medium point ones are good too. I have 2 sets of pink ones that I keep buying the refills for, so that way I know its my pen and no one else at work has them so I will know if one walks away. What is the difference between needle point and medium point? Is needle point thinner? Like fine point? I may have to get one of each! I like trying out pens, but they probably don't have "samples" out to try becasue of covid. Yes, it's finer. These in blue .07 are my very fave too. I've turned all my workmates on to them.

I mentioned on the other thread that my favourite pens are the PaperMate Ink Joy. They have a nice thick nib and they are lovely and smooth. Plus, they come in lots of different colours!

It is lovely and glides like butter. those are my other favorite (love their purple) but prefer the TUL retractable because no cap to fuss with. You can get a variety of colors, just black or blue or metallic. The feeling is similar now that I think about it, probably why I like them both.

Just ordered some of these but in bold to try. I do love Sharpies. My current favorites are Pilot G2 Gel pens in blue. I prefer the bold but like the medium (0.7) too.

I was trying to think of how to describe my favorite pen as it's one of these freebies from a scrapbook store! It's the only one I've needed at my "desk" (AKA dining room table) since I started working from home nearly a year ago. I'll be quite sad when it runs dry. . .

I love pens and paper.
My two favorite pens so far to write with (everyday type pens) are Pilot P-700 fine and Morning Glory Pro Mach Rolling ball pens. I've used the Pilots for years and just adore them for their smoothness while writing but once in awhile they smear a bit. I've only been using the Morning Glory pens for a short while. The .38 size was too fine for me-I could hear it scratching on the paper so I bumped it up to a .05 and it's much better.
I'm always looking out for great pens. If you haven't checked it out before try out jetpens.com I love this site because I can find pens (and paper) I can't find anywhere else and they do such an amazing job describing the different pens.

And another kind was just recommended to me by someone who also loves these, and since I wanted some with lots of color options for a gratitude journal I ordered them. Pilot Acroball. Has anyone tried them? Yes - smooth writer!

The thread about whether you carry a pen made me curious. What are your favorite pens?
I love the tulle pens! But they only sold them at Office Max in our area, and Office Max closed. I need more ideas!
TUL are my favorite, too. I just posted on other thread about them. You can also find them on amazon and WalMart. ( below copied from other thread to enable more here) I've only ran across the gold and silver metallic inks in the past and we loved them. Great for art/scrapbooking/dark paper. Sad when they ran dry from use. They are currently $33.95 on amazon but !!Enabler alert!!! for pen lovers... metallic ink set of 8 TUL pens on sale $14.99 + 20% off coupon
I just ordered online and will be picking up curbside. Thank you! I ordered 2 sets and they just arrived and I love them.

Thank you! I ordered 2 sets and they just arrived and I love them. Glad you like them! I hate to be an enabler of dissatisfaction. I picked up mine today. Enough for me, my artist adult child and one for each of my group of friends gained via scrapbooking when my now DS21 was still in diapers and not yet 1 . We've been only able to get together virtually as of late. I think I may send them (all at the same time) for this year's birthday gift and a pick me up during this mess.

I thought I was alone in my persnickety ways about pens, which I am almost certain came to me hereditarily, courtesy of my dad. My weapon of choice is the Pilot Precise V5 Extra Fine. I've trained myself pretty well so that it having a cap is not an issue for me. (now that I have arrogantly announced that, I am almost certain to leave a cap off one in a favorite purse with a light colored fabric lining) I always have one of "MY pens" in my bag, car, nightstand, wherever. I've never liked using random DNA pool pens in public places, even before Covid. Not just about the germs but I just don't like writing with weird-to-me pens.
And woe to the family member that jacks one of my pens and leaves it lying about without the cap on it...

I’m probably the only one who loves a bold point pen. My fav is Bic Velocity gel pens with a bold point. I’ve used them for years and have one in my purse at all times. I do I do!!! I like PaperMate Profile ball point in XL (1.4) or 1.0
