It's almost spring! Whoo!
We had about an inch of snow last night, so everything is sparkling in the sun. I need to get my camera out and take a few photos.
I bet some of our southern Peas have bulbs starting to pop up.

The trees in my neighborhood have buds for new leaves and new flowers! Yay and ugh because of allergies. But the trees are so beautiful.
We are dealing with a windy almost spring which doesn't help my allergies. But the sky is so blue.
The kids and I are excited to color eggs this year. We didn't last year as I didn't want to waste the eggs. We were a month into Covid lock down and you could only get 1 pk of eggs a trip.

I bet some of our southern Peas have bulbs starting to pop up. I took this photo the other day. The hyacinths are up a bit more today! Put away all my winter decor except for some little houses on my mantle. I put up a few Easter things outside and have St Paddy's decor inside since I am hosting a family dinner for St Paddy's day. I have spent large parts of the last 4 days organizing scrapbook stuff - endless piles of scrapbook stuff. I have made a dent. If I was burying a body I would have dug down about one foot into frozen ground. I have 4 crop days this month and am organized and ready to go. 2 days are CM crops, one a National Scrapbook Day CM crop. Those crops are pretty much what's left in my area and they cost money I am now willing to pay. I am filling out one of those monthly sheets where you color in for each layout you complete in a month, like 30 days for April, 29 for Feb, etc. I have completed Jan, Feb, March and April so far. I won a CM paper pack for getting 3 months of layouts scrapped.

Well, it happened again. I lost my craft table to DD17 so she can do a project for school. She assures me that I'll have it back by this weekend so I won't have to take part in the virtual crops on the floor, but we all know how that works out. I think I'd better vacuum my carpet just in case!

It is a beautiful day in my neck of the woods. I'm happy that spring is on the way, too. Lately I've been doing scrappy things that aren't really leading to completed pages like fussy cutting and cutting basic shapes on my Cameo. I had some great momentum going on my Disney album but I stopped because I was waiting for more supplies to arrive that were preorders. Now I have to look at where I left off and I don't have the mental energy for it right now.
Also, I have a temporary desk right now and it's so small. It's difficult to be inspired to scrap when I don't have as much room as I'd like to spread out. A few weeks back I brought out a bunch of supplies to my 8 seat dining room table and I loved all the space. Whenever I complain about the small desk DH tells me to order the desk I want. It's a big decision and I can't make myself go through with it. I'm getting tired of my own complaints about the small desk so I really need to just make a choice and go with it.
So I'm seeing a pattern in my complaining. I'm going to make an effort to stop whining and choose a desk!

My January photos never arrived.
I contacted the USPS, got one email stating they'd look into it and appreciate my patience, but nothing came of it (yet?).
Today I used Snapfish chat, and they're sending me replacements. Fingers crossed I actually get these.
I still need to order February photos.
Haven't done much scrapping lately. Just feel so blah.

Finished my February pocket page layout. I decided to use Simple Stories Hello Today collection for my monthly pocket page layouts this year and I’m really liking it. It’s making it super easy. Each month has a pp sheet with cut apart cards and there is a 12x12 sticker sheet. I need to remember to take more horizontal photos though. LavenderLayoutLady sorry about your photos. That’s a bummer. Hoping the 2nd batch reach you quickly. Elsabelle and msliz hope your desk issues sort themselves out. Elsabelle I set up my desk in an L configuration and love it. I feel like I have more space. I used a cube unit to form the L. If you aren’t ready to commit to a new desk maybe you could try a new setup with what you have on hand.

I ordered a new desk last night and I am so excited! It’s quite a bit larger than what I have now so I’ll be able to spread out more. An L shaped desk is great. It makes it so convenient to spread out or set things aside but they’re still within reach.

I haven’t scrapped so far this month. Puppy sitting. Ordered some discounted [Not] Just for Boys kits. And signed up with my LSS for Maker Mania 3. Looking forward to the To Immunity & Beyond crop here later this month. Lots of on line chatting and chances for virtual meetups. anda11 if you like heritage scrapping, check out gramma’s 28-4-28 challenges. Hers are #’s 7, 14, 21, & 28.

I found myself near a Michael's today with some time to kill, so I went in to look around. The coupon was garbage, and the sales were garbage. I was getting ready to walk out when I happened by a clearance section. There wasn't a ton to look through, but I managed to find two different packs of goodies, each containing four 8x8 stencils and 11 stamps. I bought them for the stencils though, $3 each, down from $14.99. I'm happy.

How is it I am retired and still have not had time to scrapbook all week? I feel like all I did was cook and clean this week.
I'm hoping for time this afternoon.

msliz, if I got down to scrap on the floor, I may need a crane to get me up! Hoping to actually scrap today. Pretty tired after my drive to take my 4legged charges home, and frustrated after having trouble printing the latest photos at WM, but before I left home, I had grabbed and set out on my counter a few papers and other supplies and tools for a LO with a set of pic’s I had from before, and was DREAMING about scrapbooking. And I woke up with tons of ideas floating through my mind. Hoping I can create something remotely close to what’s in my head.

I ordered February photos today, and fingers crossed, they actually get delivered instead of being lost like January photos.
January photos (reprint order) are estimated to be delivered 3/17.
February photos are estimated to be delivered on 3/24.
I'll believe it when I see it.
I put away the four layouts I last made.
Today I jotted down some March pandemic album journaling. I can't believe it's been a whole year. I'm amazed that three vaccines have been made. I'm eager to get mine, and have my parents get theirs.

Hello all, it’s been a while since I updated here. I recently moved, and currently living with my parents (one month and counting). Luckily my mom is a crafter/scrapper. I’ve been working on a SS Sn@p 6x8 album for my baby niece. Her first bday is coming up in April so I need to hurry and finish it! After that, we’ll see but I wanted to scrap some of my own photos of living at home. I can’t decide on the size... I was thinking of trying a travelers notebook but they don’t really seem to suit me. A full 12x12 would be too big for some of the smaller stories. But then again, if I want to continue the rest of the year, I’ll want 12x12. Maybe a mix of 12x12 and pocket pages, but that seems to require a lot of figuring out the right order to put photos. I know I’m over thinking it lol but here we are.

My just-turned-8-year-old dgs took a bunch of photos the other day on his mom's phone, then insisted they be sent to me, because he wants "my very own scrapbook. Just about me." Gotta love that!

Took selfies today to scrap the one year anniversary of WHO declaring Covid-19 a pandemic.
It was also a year ago today when schools were shutdown. And the beginning of a work furlough that lasted several months.

I worked on the grands 50 states albums yesterday. They added 4 new states they have visited with their roundabout travels home from Nashville due to the winter storms.
Once again, Shutterfly messed up my photo order. The photos are fine, but when I "select all" to print from the album I created, it misses some of the photos. I've complained twice about that. I even think I double check, but I get my order and some are missing.

They couldn’t print any photos “on the cloud”. But my phone is now storing most recent photos there.

First of three pizza boxes of scrappy supplies I have ordered recently arrived today. Under the influence of craftymom101 , I ordered three back kits from the [Not] Just for Boys club: Patina, Wild, and Treasured. Also ordered an extra paper pack to go with each kit. (I also have some Creating Memories gem tone papers and a couple of monthly ScrapFan kits expected soon). NJFB The papers are gorgeous: rich weight and colours of paper, fun embellishments, all perfectly coordinated even though they come from different manufacturers. There are some sequins, a bottle of mist, special diecuts, seems no end to the fun in that box! I can hardly wait to just PLAY...

Anyone else do that recently?
