Can't read the attachment, maryannscraps. But want to go on record that I HATE arbitrary time changes. It throws off my natural rhythms. And they are setting the ends of DST further apart, so I now have to wait 9 months to get the hour back that I lost overnight.

Ugh. It was a silly meme that I can’t get to attach. Sorry. I was up super early this morning too.

I had to set my alarm to make sure we woke up at our normal time. Ugh! Who sets an alarm for Sunday?! 😂

I woke at 830 instead of 730. Worked for me.

The meme showed a construction crew at Stone Henge moving the stones forward an hour. 😁

We stay up late so when I woke this morning it was closer to lunch than breakfast.

I don't mind this change. The spring forward makes everything happen faster. I love more light in the evening also.

I didn't even realize it was time to change the clocks. I thought it was in the next week or so. By the time I got up my husband had changed all the clocks for me.

I woke at 830 instead of 730. Worked for me. Me too! Me 3 ! I first looked at my phone, and was quite happy with myself that I had slept in until 8:30. I sleep poorly. Then, as I ventured into the living room, the clock on the wall told me, nope - 7:30. 😕

I love daylight savings time! It's actually sunny today, so we will notice it even more. I even went to bed earlier last night so I am set! But my bedtime varies daily, so losing an hours sleep is nothing. I have kids, so I am used to losing sleep!

The worst part is trying to adjust the dog's and cat's feeding schedules. They have no clue about daylight savings time! We try to do it gradually, about 15 minutes a day until we're back on track.

I don’t get the big controversy about it , I enjoy the longer days but It not a big deal either way.

Overall it doesn't bother me but having to change the time I shut the chickens up is a big pain. They don't apologise daylight savings time, they are strictly sun oriented.

So I am happy for this time change! You have some early risers! Mine sleep with us and around 6:30 will start the Feed Me Death Stare. By 7, one of them will start steeping on my husband. They leave me alone since they know I am the PM feeder.

Pre-Covid days, I used to wake up at 4:30 and until the time change in the fall they were ok with 5:30 just couldn't get them to sleep in. Sunday it was almost 7 and I actually woke them up.. it was pure bliss... They sleep in another room so its a husky howl that starts it all, and soon all three are singing to wake us up.

I don’t get the big controversy about it , I enjoy the longer days but It not a big deal either way. The day is the same length no matter what the clock says, that is what is so dumb about it. It is a pain for a lot of people (especially children) to adjust their clocks when it doesn't make a damn bit of difference on how long or short the days are. It would be lighter later naturally as summer gets closer and the amount of sunlight each day gets increases, this arbitrary changing of times is just pointless.

I'm probably one of the few who loves Day Light Savings Time! I love that there is still lots of light left when I get home from work during the growing season so I can putter around outside before bed. On the flip side, I love when we go back to Standard Time in the Fall because it seems so much cozier to get home from work and slip in to jammies because it's getting dark! Every once in a while Washington State discusses not changing times and I'm like NOOOOOO!!!

I don't hate daylight savings time, I just hate changing the clocks twice a year. Pick one and leave it! I love when we go back to Standard Time in the Fall because it seems so much cozier to get home from work and slip in to jammies because it's getting dark! I think this is one reason I am glad I don't live somewhere where it stays light until 9PM. The darkness tells me to start unwinding and relax.

In real life, everyone I know loves DST. I was shocked when I read the annual dislike DST thread here years ago. I didn't think anyone loved the early darkness. I wish I tolerated it better than I do. My husband has seasonal affective disorder, so the fall is a really hard time. We are all grumps in the fall when it's dark early. And very unproductive and eat nonstop. But when we spring forward, we have so much energy to get stuff done in the evenings. Our family is so much happier. We sleep so much better because we are more active in the evenings, and are ready for bed at night. It's interesting how we are all so different in our like/dislike the early/later darkness.

We used to go to Europe every summer when the kids were little, it was a seven hour difference and It took the children around three or four days to be back on a normal schedule and probably because of that my kids never had a problem adapting to daylight saving time .

I like DST. I make a point to stay up late on the Saturday night before it starts and then the next day I'm tired and ready to go to bed at what normally would feel like an earlier time. My dogs do better with losing an hour than getting one. I love that it's light out later in the day during the summer.
