Good for you! DD and I will be eligible in MI starting tomorrow. I have registered myself, dd and dh with the health department and Meijer. DD and I are also patients/employees at the University of Michigan, so the two of us are registered with them. I've also created accounts and am checking Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid. So far nothing for me, but dd got a call this morning from the health dept and she has an appointment for tomorrow. She came running down the stairs screaming with excitement. Then went to the Starbucks drive through for a celebratory Frauppucino. My goal this week is to find an appointment for me. Then when dh becomes eligible in another week or so, work on him. I wake up a lot at night so hopefully that will be beneficial to me for one time in my life! I feel like I did a few years ago when I was trying to get Disney Fast Passes! Also in Michigan here and we were able to luck into appointments for our first shot last week at a Rite Aid about 30 min from our house. A friend tipped me off. I was shocked at how many appointments they had open plus I heard they were taking walk ins at the end of the day for any leftover so it wouldn't to waste. We were signed up with the county, Meijer, Walgreens, and our healthcare provider and haven't heard anything. I'd check Rite Aid locations all around you. Good luck!

Lol, I saw a meme on social yesterday calling people posting about their shots on social media, vaxxholes. š¤Øš
I donāt subscribe to that, the more people vaccinated - no matter who and where - the better and safer we all are. I am happy to hear of anyone getting vaccinated, including one very (for some valid reasons) reluctant (highly vulnerable) friend who actually made me cry in relief when she posted the other day sheād gotten her first. So, no guilt allowed OP, itās a good thing! The inequalities in delivery are not *your* fault.
But I did think it an was interesting social commentary that such a term had even been coined.

I'm south of Flint and have tried putting in our little town, Flint, Brighton, Hartland and Ann Arbor and nothing so far.

Donāt feel guilty. Shots into arms is the goal, no matter if you were able to get one without a struggle. Congratulations on your sore arm and stay healthy.

Donāt feel guilty. No one should be feeling guilty over this vaccine. If you are offered a shot (no matter where you fall on the list) you take it. No one should be made to feel that they have to explain why they have received the shot.
That being said, the roll out in some places is a lot quicker than in other places. Tomorrow, Arizona will be open to age 16 and above.
