I have an s7 and pretty much none of my apps are working.  Anyone else having trouble? ETA: change the title since it's an Android problem not a Samsung problem. Update: I was finally able to update the Chrome app and it fixed the problem. |

Yes, I thought it was Verizon's way of telling me I need a new phone! It keeps saying that the apps aren't working and I can't search for anything.

Interesting, I tried to do this but I don't have a Webview app installed. Really weird. Very frustrating! Might have to take it into your local store or call customer service for help. |

So odd. I have an S8 and had a couple minor problems yesterday, but just assumed it was the service. I am having mini problems with gmail. I can get around them, but something is not right.

I checked for an app update and whatever one from Samsung was there fixed the problem.

With my daughter's phone, we were able to uninstall Chrome, and that fixed hers.
My S10 is fine, but my husband's doesn't work and the fix didn't work for his either.
We also have Verizon.

I have an S10. Went to settings, apps, searched for webview and it pulled up Android system webview. Went to the bottom and clicked on app details in store and then did update.
Also had to do the same for Google Chrome app. Once both updated, my phone is working fine again.

Web viewer and Chrome won't update for me! It just spins and spins and says "pending " . Anyone else have that issue?

Well, I went to the Verizon store and she said the problem isn't fixed so she can't help me. I asked if she knew why Web View isn't an app on my phone. She said it is an app you have to download. How many of you actually downloaded that app. I call bull crap.
The Verizon guy at Costco wasn't aware of any problems with Android. Obviously he is just a guy who sells phones and hasn't had a problem with his.

Glad to know that I'm not going crazy. My phone started acting up last night. I rebooted a few times and nothing changed. I'm trying to update Chrome and the WebView apps, but the pending just spins forever. This is so annoying!

I'm still wondering why I don't have the WebView app. It's a mystery! |

Interesting, I tried to do this but I don't have a Webview app installed. It doesnt show up as a normal app. It took me a bit to find it, but it did solve the issue. Let me poke around and see if I can find it again |
