My sisters and I are going in June. Does anyone have a resort to recommend on Maui?

We stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani. It was beautiful, but that part of our stayed was paid for by my husbands company. The other days we were their we stayed at an Airbnb in Lahaina. I know you’ll have a fabulous time wherever you stay!!

Not sure what your budget is, but the Four Seasons Wailea is lovely.

Can't recommend a resort, we stayed in a condo rented through vrbo. But, we were in Maalaea, along Sugar Beach, which is centrally located to most things. Which was very convenient. One of our best vacations. You will have a fabulous time! So much to see and do.

We've stayed in different hotels in both Kaanapali and Wailea. I much prefer Kaanapali as I find it more laid back and close to Lahaina Town. We stayed at the Westin next to Whaler's Village twice and liked it for the pool set-up for DS. Since you won't have kids with you, that probably won't matter. A condo might work well since there were be more than 2 of you.

I know you’ll have a fabulous time wherever you stay!! We are partial to Wailea and have stayed at 5 different properties in the other. This is our favorite.

We are looking to book for our 25th anniversary in Sep/Oct/Nov timeframe. Thanks!

KikiPea, the condo complex was Makani a kai. It wasn't fancy but my requirement was that it was on the beach, not across the street and didnt cost an arm and a leg. Many of the resorts close to it didn't have beach access in front of them so we were lucky. We had a snorkel trip out of Maalaea Bay to Molokini Island on the Trilogy. Other days were spent at all the major sights, towns, and hiking areas. Iao Valley was closed due to mud slides while we were there in 2017.

We stayed at The Grand Wailea which was very pretty and nice, but the Four Seasons right next door looked even better. I feel like there were some Marriott Villas right next to The Grand Wailea, I would probably go in that direction personally (no idea though of costs or specifics)

We love Kaanapali beach too and have only stayed at the Westin Villas each time we’ve gone. Excellent area, service etc. we also love being close to Lahaina. Enjoyed visiting the south area, Wailea and such but enjoy the Westside more. Really though can’t go wrong on Maui. Enjoy!

We prefer Wailea over kaanipali. Wailea is beyond beautiful and has better weather. Any resort. We usually rent a condo at Ekahi village. Love the location and the price is better than at a hotel. Also we can make meals. I don’t find the food on Maui so wonderful that I need to eat out for a week or two. It depends how long you’re going for.
