On Sundays when hubby works, I have to take the dogs on their long walk before I leave for church at 7:30 a.m. I am usually gone 5 hours on Sundays. Anyway, I hate walking in the dark, and I hate holding both of them and a flashlight. So yesterday I remembered the book light DD#3 got me for Christmas. I love it, and I thought why not use it for my walk. It worked AMAZING yesterday. It lit up the sidewalk incredibly, and I didn't have to hold a flashlight. I don't want a headlamp so this is the next best thing. Man, if you need to be hands free for any reason but still need a flashlight, this is the way to go! Book Light

I have one of these and I take it camping with me. It is perfect to crochet around the fire and for walking up to the restrooms in the dark.

These cap lights from Amazon are amazing! I have bought several sets. DH loves them for working after dark on the farm. When he is planting late into the night, he can see into the planter when he is filling. Great for working on engines too - even during the day. You can clip it on the bill of your hat or onto your shirt. SUPER bright! Just make sure you get the one that says "2pcs Shirt Pocket Cap Lights" .. there is also a listing on the same page that is for "2pcs COB5W Red Light Flashing" and that one isn't as good, plus you have to click through the red blinking light to get it shut off. But the "Shirt Pocket Cap Light" one is fantastic. You can swivel the head up and down too - so darn handy! And really bright! LED cap light

My DH just handed me a pair of his suit slacks that has a tiny tear at the pocket. My immediate thought was “I need Patter ‘s book light!” A perfect example of trying to do something that needs light but you need to use both of your hands. My light will be delivered March 31. Unfortunately he needs this particular pair of slacks tomorrow, so I’ll have to take them into my craft room and try to fix them under the light I have in there on my super messy craft table. Ha

iowgirl those look great. I think I will put that in my cart too! Thanks! Restless Spirit, hope you get the slacks fixed easily. This like would have been perfect but at least you will have it for the next time!
