Pfizer and after the second shot I was exhausted. No fever, no other symptoms, just fatigued and slept all day. I chose mild since I felt fine, but I really couldn’t carry on with my daily life, but severe seemed too strong for just being tired.

DH had zero side effects to his 2nd Moderna so I expected the same. Nope, I was an aching mess with a violent headache for 24 hours.

This fatigue is definitely interrupting my day, but naps aren't exactly a "severe" side effect. Luckily, I scheduled the shot over my days off. I woke up from a deep sleep with a bad stomach ache. It lasted about 30 minutes and I feel wiped out but otherwise okay. My first shot I didn't even feel the stick. The second one stung but was manageable - just caught me off guard.

Well fudge. Had 2nd Moderna shot yesterday evening. Have just felt off all day. Had a migraine earlier. Currently have 101.6 temp which is very rare for me. Nauseated (but luckily I have good medicine for that).
I too felt like I wanted a middlin' option.
I have been in bed all day, but that's not unusual due to my chronic illnesses. I just want it to be next week already!

AB+, had Pfizer vaccine. No fever, chills of any of that, but about 30 hrs after, on my left side (vaccine in left arm), it felt like I had been kicked on side at left breast and was very sore there for about a day and a half, then just as suddenly it quit hurting. No swelling, no bruising, just really, really sore. I attribute it to the vaccine, since there was nothing else that I can think of happened.

Pfizer: 1st shot my arm was bruised feeling about 12 hours after the shot. It only hurt when pressure was applied to the muscle, like trying to sleep on that arm, but cleared up by morning. 2nd shot was Friday, arm was again bruised feeling but also painful when moved. This started about an hour after. Still have some minor pain when moving my arm. Sunday evening started running a fever, some nausea, head ache that beats all headaches, muscle aches and fatigue Sunday evening through Tuesday afternoon. My fever is back to normal and I'm feeling better other than still so very tired for no reason. I took Monday and Tuesday off from work. I plan to go back tomorrow.

I had moderna. The second vaccine reactions were not what I expected. I took a day off expecting some reaction. I got my shot at 1245. At 5pm the following day my head got really heavy and wonky. I made it to bed before passing out I don’t know if I passed out or just fell asleep but I woke up 6 hours later in the exact same position. Got up, ate got a shower and then slept for another 12 hours. I don’t normally sleep like that. That’s the only odd thing that happened. I have not had COVID to my knowledge I know someone that slept 13 after her first Moderna the night of the shot and I think she said 10 hours the next night. I haven’t heard about her reactions from the second shot.

Has anyone had more vivid dreams/nightmares since getting the vaccine?
I used to have night terrors but haven’t had one in over five years. I had two extreme night terrors within 4 days of my first vaccine...one involved not recognizing my dog and fearing she was going to attack my face when she just wanted petting.
I’ve also had extremely violent nightmares...I always dream and the occasional nightmare but since getting my guest vaccine two weeks ago, I’ve had very vivid nightmares almost every night.

Pfizer. Not mild enough to go on with my day. I was exhausted with mild flu symptoms for about 12 hours. I had to sleep.
But they weren’t severe symptoms.

Got my second yesterday afternoon—Moderna. Sore arm and feeling like I can’t stay awake, similar reaction to the first vaccine. I am going back to bed.

I picked Moderna- severe side effects (interrupts your regular day)
I wouldn't say they were severe side effects, but definitely had the chills pretty bad and was in bed.. but it was over in about 8 hours and no symptoms of ever being sick by the time I woke up. It was almost like a dream.

I answered Pfizer and that it did affect my day, but it was for the first dose since I had Covid in Nov. I would not have been able to work (in person) for two days. The second dose I also had effects, but not as bad and could have worked.
I did not have a fever, but I was very achey and fatigued. I pretty much felt like I did on my worst couple days of covid minus the cold symptoms, minor breathing issues and lack of smell/taste. I may have been even more fatigued than when I had covid though.

Got 2nd Pfizer yesterday. Today I feel... run down and I have a low grade fever. Which is pretty much how I felt the day after the 1st dose. But it's 1000 x better than getting Covid for sure. I felt worse after Shingrix Follow up. Day #2 after dose #2 of Pfizer. Last night I woke up twice fever-y and sweaty. Took advil both times and it helped. This morning. I don't feel as run down, but my shot arm hurts and it is puffy all around the upper arm and around my lymph nodes in my underarm. My face is puffy too. To be clear, not anaphylactic puffy/feeling but like my lymph system is impacted. All listed a possible side effects so not worried. It definitely feels weird though.

I had Pfizer. I had to check “severe” on your survey based on how you defined it, but I would use “moderate” to describe my side effects from the second shot—I developed a fever about 24 hours afterwards and had to knock off work for the day, and needed extra sleep for a few nights.

Just had my 2nd Moderna vaccine about an hour and a half ago so I'll have to answer this on Friday. DH had his 2nd Moderna on Monday and spent most of yesterday in bed. Everything hurt, fever of 100.4 in the evening, some dizziness. Today he is fine. My arm started getting sore almost immediately so I think that is a sign I'm probably in for the same thing he had.

I am now getting COVID arm after shot #2 Monday evening. Started late yesterday. Ugh! I hope it doesn't get anymore itchy, raised, or hot. I can tolerate it now but won't if it gets much worse.
