The girl has cartoon butterflies flying around her head and everyone understands her even though she only speaks French? You let these weird people just in off the street?) I haven't seen the hamster/butterfly one, but those puppet commercials are so stupid and annoying. That marketing rep needs to be fired.

^ That one. That is one of the worst set of commercials I have ever seen. I cannot change the channel fast enough when those come on. Whoever thought that was a good idea should be fired immediately.

I do not like the marionette commercial. Haven't seen the other one.
My current "most annoying commmercial" is for Time Warner Cable. The wife walks in the house and says to the husband in an ANNOYINGLY CUTESY VOICE "what did you do?" because he bought more furniture than they need. Then the coach guy (who I have no clue who he is but DH and DS say he's an NFL coach) walks in talks about whatever they're pitching. Normally, at this point I'm lunging for the remote or complaining so I have no clue what the feature is they're selling.

Of those 2 the DirecTv is hands down the worst. In fairness though, I find most commercials stupid or annoying lately. I don't even understand a lot of them.

The hopper commercials. Especially the ones where everyone screams HOPPER. Gah. Haven't seen that one lately though.
And for the love of pete, please stop putting unnecessary doorbells in your commercials. My dogs flip out every. time.

The Essurance commercial where the older lady post vacation photos to her "wall" makes me laugh out loud EVERY. TIME. Mostly because I can see my mom and MIL doing something like that! |

I'm so confused by the Sprint Framily commercials, but my husband insists they make perfect sense. Go figure.
I think the DirecTv ones are kind of clever. Not mind blowing, but clever.
I must say I absolutely love the Oscar Meyer commercials, though.

Like sitcoms (see other thread), I don't willingly watch commercials anymore. IMHO the few recent ones I've been subjected to are more ridiculous than entertaining or effective. Of the two choices in the OP, I vote the marionette commercial series (especially the one where the puppet dad takes off his shirt to "fight" the human husband/boyfriend) as the most annoying because it's random & completely unrelated with the product/service sold. Thank you to the inventors of the DVR & remote fast forward capabilities!

The one I hate the most may just be regional but it is the Haverty's commercial with the red headed lady. I just want to throw a shoe at her.
