Keep seeing the facebook ad for the maui soap company soaps. Have a few birthdays coming up and was thinking of something like this as part of the gift.
Wondering if anyone has bought them and can review. Also if you have a great recommendations i'll take those too.

I have bought them before and they smell so good! Another company I like to buy from (and support...family run business) is from Alaska. They use glacier silt in their soap! glaciersmoothie.com

I bought them when I was in Hawaii and when I used it I was kicking myself for not buying more. I recently placed an order from Maui Soap and they are the exact same. I love the loofah ones. I gave my sister one for Christmas and she called me asking how to buy more.

Haven't tried Maui soap, but I found a local place I really like ( Dogwood Blossom Gifts). I don't like the smell of coconut/coconut oil, so TBH I probably wouldn't try Maui Soaps - they're pretty and sound nice, but I don't think I could deal with the scent. The Dogwood Blossom soaps I've tried are long-lasting, gentle and beautiful to give as gifts. I found them at a local craft festival 2 years ago (pre-COVID), and just fell in love with the products. They're local to me (Northern VA), but they ship nationwide.

If that’s the same brand I used to buy on Maui (I can’t remember, honestly) they subsequently moved to Texas but continued making the soap. It was really lovely soap, but eventually I had to switch to using strictly unscented products. I would at least give it a try, if I were you. If you don’t like it, maybe you can make your kids use it up.

I love Expedition Soaps in MI. It was started by a 16 year old with autism to pay for a bicycle. When he went to college, he left the business to his younger brother. They have all kinds of vegan and Shea butter products and they smell amazing. They also have some new soaps like COVID Cootie Cleaner and Pandemic 2020 which might be good for a gift. expeditionsoaps.com/shop
