I picked sometimes because there are occasions where I might. If I take a bath at night, have worked out or something and taken a shower...
As a rule, I do not

The bath is why I wonder. I have to get up super early so I took a bath and put on clean underwear and I have my clothes in the bathroom so I don’t wake up DH and I forgot to grab a new pair of panties for tomorrow but then I realized I usually wear the same pair for 24 hours.

Depends. If I’m wearing pajama pants or shorts, I don’t wear underwear. I do wear underwear if I’m just sleeping in a big tee or nightshirt, and I confess that I have some Jockey brand cotton granny panties that I wear in that case. They’re so ugly but so comfortable.

I've done the forget the underwear and I can grab a pair in the morning without waking dh

I am surprised anyone wears underwear to bed! I always wear fresh PJs LOL My mom always had us wear no undies when my sister and I were growing up. I feel like once I had babies.... now it doesn't feel right to not have underwear on (and I wear PJs too).

No underwear, no gown, no PJs, no nothing... I can't stand anything to get twisted, or anything around my waist, or any sleeves, or anything on my legs.

I like to be free range when I go to bed. If it is super cold, I will wear a night shirt.

I dont wear underwear to bed. For those who do, why do you? Because I am more comfortable with them on.

I don’t usually wear underwear during the day. Even if I was wearing underwear, my nighttime underwear is different than my daytime underwear (like I even keep them in different rooms in the house).
Everyone in the house showers and puts on clean underwear before bed. It’s gross to get into bed with the day on you.

My grandma always said you need to air out at night, so none of the women on my mom's side of the family wear underwear to bed, unless they are on their period. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but I'm 54 and my sisters are 50 & 48 and none of us have ever had a yeast infection.

I dont wear underwear to bed. For those who do, why do you? It’s the only thing I wear to bed. A pair of panties, that’s it. If I didn’t wear them, I’d have to wash the sheets every day. If you are naked, the sheets are your underwear.

I shower at night because I like to ‘wash the day off’ before bed. I sleep in a nightshirt or tshirt most nights, but never underwear. Occasionally I sleep au naturel if the weather allows.

I shower before bed, so everything is clean when I get into bed. I always wear underpants in bed. In winter I might wear a PJ top, but I never wear PJ pants in bed, they get twisted and annoy me, but if I did, I'd still put underpants on. I was surprised to learn that some people wear PJ pants with no undies underneath. That makes no sense to me - it's just more washing...if you only wear PJ pants then surely you have new ones each day...so then you have to own & wash a lot of PJ pants. I change undies everyday anyway and they get washed, so why add more washing (PJ pants AND underpants) I dont wear underwear to bed. For those who do, why do you? My question is...why wouldn't you? I don't see why bed is different to the rest of the day, and there's mucous membranes in that area, the natural environment is moist...underpants contain any fallout, which is why they get changed and washed at least daily. And what if something happens and you have to get up in a hurry...I at least want to have pants on. If there's a fire and I have a cat under each arm...I don't want my punani hanging out!

I dont wear underwear to bed. For those who do, why do you? For the same reason you wear underwear under your clothes. Anything worn without underwear, IMO, has to be washed after one use. Jeans/pants/pajamas/sheets worn or used with underwear do not necessarily have to be washed after every use. I also find it more comfortable, and living in a year-round humid climate, a fresh pair at bedtime are a must for me.

But I would basically have to do the splits for anything of my undercarriage to touch the sheets. 😂 I dont like being confined while Im trying to sleep, I guess. I keep a pair of lounging pajamas right next to the bed and in case of emergency, I can be in those in 30 seconds.

I don’t care if you sleep commando, but it’s gross if you don’t recognize the sheets are your underwear and therefore you need to wash them more often.

I wear lounge pants and tee shirts as pajamas. Nothing underneath, shower and fresh pair each evening. I may not wear underwear but wear specific themes each night. For example; Harry Potter on Sunday, Mario on Tuesday, Nickelodeon Rugrats on Wednesday, Big Bang on Thursday and so forth. Same sequence every week.
