Have you seen the "I don't care if you've been vaccinated" photo frame on social media? What is your impression of the meaning/intent behind this particular frame? Who is using it in your experience?
I'd like to see what others think and then I'll share my experience...

I have not seen it. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I suspect it would depend on which of my friends was using it.

Maybe it is a push back against people posting their vaccination card/sticker? I know a couple of people who don’t understand why people have to announce on social media that they are vaccinated.
I haven’t seen the photo frame. I guess how I felt would depend on who posted it. I have a few no-Covid-vac people on my feed. If one of them posted it, then I would roll my eyes.

I haven't seen it. It must be in response to I'm vaccinated one and all the I'm vaccinated posts. I guess for a few it might not mean your anti just keep your private business to yourself.

I haven't seen it. None of my friends, me included, have "celebrated" our vaccination status with the I'm vaccinated frame. I only know who has been vaccinated because they made a post about their experience so there have been vaccinated related conversations. If there are any anti-vaxxers they have simply stayed quiet. The only people I think might use such a frame are people who don't plan to get vaccinated or are tired of covid related conversations.

I’ve seen it but it wasn’t someone I knew just someone posting on a group. I just figured they were anti vax more than just I don’t care. No idea as I don’t know the person. I’m happy that everyone I knew that was antivax has now had at least one shot. I suspect there may be a few more that I “know” on FB that might be though from other things they have posted.

I would assume they were a selfish asshole who wants no restrictions but refuses to do the simple things needed for the restrictions to end- masking and getting vaccinated.
Personally, if you have been vaccinated,I want to hear about it. I want to celebrate with you and congratulate you!

I haven't seen it, but wouldn't expect it here. The only people I've seen on my Facebook posting that they have been vaccinated are Americans - none of my British or German friends have done so, and I know quite a few people in my friends who have had their shot/s.

I always check the likes when I come across someone like that, because I am the queen of petty.
And the likes almost always correspond to people who like things like Trump, Tomi Lahren, Hannity, or have also used a "thin blue line" frame.
Just sayin'.
And, my opinion is that they're anti-science, anti-vax assholes.

I got my first dose yesterday and was not planning on posting my card or sticker from the vaccination site to social media. I have been vocal about my support for the vaccine so people already know my feelings, but I didn’t feel the need to post my status. Until I was sitting in the waiting area after my shot and I saw that my sister in law had posted yet another dumb, insensitive meme about the vaccine. So I took a picture of my card with the sticker I got covering my identifying information and posted a generic, yet slightly passive aggressive caption about how easy it was to get vaccinated and how I hoped that anyone who was able to get it would do it.
My husband still has four weeks of paternity leave to take and we were willing to fly to visit his mom and siblings with the baby after we were fully vaccinated. All we asked was that they also get vaccinated and so far they’ve refused. I don’t feel like we are asking too much and I won’t keep my son from them forever, but if we are going to be in the same house for an extended period of time I think being vaccinated is the least they can do for me. I believe people who are medically able to receive the vaccine are going to find pretty quickly that they’ll be shunned or not allowed to do a lot of activities without a costly covid test to prove they’re negative time after time. I’m in no rush to go to large gatherings any time soon but when I do I’ll feel better knowing you have to come with your vaccine card or a negative test.

I haven't seen it on my Facebook. I posted when I got my shot as I was excited and happy. I have underlying conditions that if I caught Covid I would be very sick. If someone doesn't like that I posted a pic of my sticker then they can piss off. Scroll on by baby.

I don’t feel like it’s anti-vax. There are several that are more plainly anti-vax, so if the person just wanted to be anti-vax, they’d choose one of those.
The one I see most often is the Texas flag with “I choose #nomask”.

Personally, if you have been vaccinated,I want to hear about it. I want to celebrate with you and congratulate you! This is a fucking public health crisis. Those morons saying nobody asks if I got the flu vaccine can fuck off. At least we know who will be effected when the “herd is thinned”.

Sounds like I'm not totally off base with my initial reaction to this photo frame. I've seen it used twice that I have noticed. Both people are Trump supporters and anti-mask. I've personally witnessed one of them wearing a mesh mask twice in mandatory-mask situations. The first person is VERY anti-vax and my clear impression is that she is poking fun at people both getting and posting about the vaccine. But for someone who doesn't care about vaccines she posts ALL THE TIME about them. The second person insists he just means that "everything one does does not have to be shared on FB". (But apparently everyone is supposed to care that he is currently camping, last week had a work day by a lake, and the week before that went on a boat ride with his family. Does he not see the disconnect there?) Interestingly, he is vaccinated (and even posted a selfie with his card at the time!) but his wife is not. She is a nurse and he says she did not get vaccinated because the doctors she works with are concerned about the long term effects. WHAT? Honestly - 95% of what people post on social media is stuff that no one else cares about. But I'm like littlemama - in a global pandemic we SHOULD care that others are being vaccinated. I rejoice every time someone posts that they have done their small part to help us get out of this mess. I LOVE seeing the vaccination posts. Bring 'em on. I think the photo frame is unkind. Even if you are simply just tired of seeing people post their vaccination status - why the need to point that out unless you are mocking/poking fun?

I havent seen it. But I would be inclined to think that either the person who used it Is sick to death of the “I got vaccinated!” Posts and this is their petty way of getting that message across, or it’s because they are an anti-vaxxer.

If I see something like that, then that person has shown me who they are, and I will give them the level of respect that they deserve-which is to say, none at all.

I have the “I’m vaccinated” frame. I’ve even occasionally used frames or overlays for major events to show support. I don’t need others to, and if they don’t like mine, that’s okay too. I don’t have to like theirs either. Now if it was a BEC of mine, yeah I would be side-eyeing. That’s the whole point of a BEC.

I posted my “got vaccinated” not because I thought anyone would care, but just in case any of my friends had questions about what it was like, because they were still on the fence.

I have not seen it on my feed because I have unfollowed or repeatedly snoozed the trump humpers who I expect would use it. And if I saw it in spite of my efforts to avoid, I’d post a reply saying something like “Oh I’m sorry, you know there is a clinic at so-and-so next week. Sure hope you can get an appointment soon!”

I have it.
I am not a fan of Trump (and absolutely didn't vote for him in either election) and I am not anti mask (my 5 year old wears one just fine and we're still working on that that my 2 year old).
I really don't care if people around me are vaccinated. I don't post my prescription medications on social media and I don't need to know if everyone is up to date on their shots.

Have you been vaccinated?

Random strangers, I just roll my eyes. It’s seems very in your face smug contempt. 🤷🏼♀️
