I seldom have a reason to scrap those themes but I will have a reason for both this year.
I think wedding and graduation lines are so boring and ugly. I understand they are trying to not clash with color schemes but they are just so ugh.
I have some paper from a Basic Grey wedding line I’m going to use but I have never seen a decent graduation line. I’ll just use a non-themed line for those pages but it is disappointing.
What other themes always get disappointing lines?

I think for graduation I've mainly used cardstock in the school colours with die cuts or stickers -Not sure I've actually seen a whole line/collection
I did pick up the perfect line for my sister's second wedding - they did a rustic theme and I got a collection from PaperHouse that was perfect even down to their wedding colours (now ask me if I've scrapped the wedding yet? they married in 2017)

I just have some graduation stamps and I picked up some stickers to use on cards and scrapbook pages, and will also use the HS Old School line for my kids’ high school years, since their mascot was a tiger, and that line has tiger images and patterns, and some other fun elements that will work. I like floral patterns for wedding photos. I picked up a great paper pad from Kaiser Craft that has a lot of soft florals and architectural details that will be perfect for my wedding reception photos, but haven’t started it yet

I know I wouldn't buy a lot of product with a graduation theme. I'd only need enough for one page, so a die cut or a sticker would suffice. I wouldn't want to be left with unused product afterward.
For weddings, I'm sure I've seen store brand paper packs at the big box stores. But, yes, you're right, the wedding theme has been largely neglected by the design houses. I would think there would be some good money to be made there too.

I agree on the graduation themed stuff. The other theme I have problems with is Easter. It’s always so pukey pastel and I never see anything I like.

I'm not a themed scrapper, but it seems there are industry-wide requirements (e.g. color schemes, icons) for each theme. For example, the few graduation & NYE lines are usually black/white/gold with the same tired sentiments (e.g. the tassle was worth the hassle, ring in the new year). The rare teen lines are typically pink & floral with lipstick tubes, roller skates, & unicorns or blue/orange with skateboards, boom boxes, & game controllers. Wedding, spring, farmhouse, mom/mother's day/grandmother, & craft collections are filled with pastels & florals. Dad/father's day/grandpa lines are blue/orange with ties, fishing, & grills. Pet collections are exclusively cats, which are pink & feminine, or dogs that are blue/orange & masculine. And so on...
It appears there are no industry-wide guidance (& therefore, few to no collections exist) for post-elementary school (ie 6th-12th grades, college), sports beyond children's extracurricular activities (ie nothing to document being a spectator at a college/pro game), young adults, first apartment/home, home construction, working/job/career, & many other themes.

Father's Day too. I bought some music related stamps in hopes of making Father's Day cards for guys who have never worn a suit and tie, don't fish or golf, and don't grill (or are, heaven forbid, vegetarians!) At some point the industry might realize that a lot of dads were born in the 80s and 90s and are not old men in cardigans. GenX dads are potentially becoming grandfathers. We need some new ideas for representing dads.

This is why I was so excited when Heidi Swapp came out with the paper line that had the wild cat on it.
I already used one sheet for dd's senior photo. I will use another for her cap and gown photo and add red and white paper and accent pieces as the colors are red, white and black.
I will just be mixing lines to go with her photos. I did pick up an embellishment kit and it is black and gold.

My dad is in his 60s and loves plants which is easy enough to cover but he is also an avid surfer, it gets hard to find surfer dad stuff around. both my husband and I are 80s babies so classic cars are old timey transport has no connection to us and he is not into hardware items, grilling and I have only seen him wear a tie once in 15 years. When I was doing lots of stuff for the fathers day stall at my kids school it was hard to find stamps that were outside these themes. Wedding lines have been a huge disappointment to me over the years. I have a massive collection of papers that I have been collecting for my wedding album over the last decade but most of them are not from wedding lines. People are generally not having that "traditional" type wedding anymore but the collections are geared that way. I would have loved to see a rockabilly bride line or something with retro/vintage vibes but everything seems to be muted colours and floral, even beach weddings which are highly prevalent don't appear anywhere.

I had quite a few graduation layouts for my younger son. The older one had maybe two.

All black and gold so you can add as much—or as little— colour as you like. Found This selection of grad papers on line. That collection is in there.

To piggyback off this, Michaels has a (kind of) grad line for 2021, it is black, gold, silver and white, and the 6x6 paper pad is pretty nice. It is very specific to 2021, so I just bought that and some 2021 ribbon with grad caps on it. Figure I will fill in with DS's school colors, and it will work fine. When I bought it last week, M's had the 6x6 pad, a bunch of ephemera, ribbon and some other stuff. No 12x12 sheets that I could see.

I loved DCWV Graduation stack and I never buy DCWV. I’m a bit biased because my kids’ school colors went perfectly, but there are some great neutrals in the stack as well.

A lot of summer lines are too beach themed for me. I live where it is very dry and hot all summer.

Zombie die for graduation or Father's Day and Zombie Bride and Groom cards were very popular with friends. I have a lot of travel stamps and dies which are great for graduation, cocktail dies for Dad, Retro TV die works too. So that is what I look for when creating for those two types of events.

Those all sound amazing! I tried a few dad/punny jokes. I need to see if I have any more cards that would lend themselves to that.
