If so, how much do you pay?
I got a "deal" when it came time to renew last year and I recently got notification that the "deal" is up and the new cost will be $26.99/month.
Not happening.
So, I've got to make the call and play the "I'm cancelling" game.
I'd like to know what deal the peas have gotten so I can aim for that!
Thanks for any help!

yep, similar. about $6/month. sometimes I can get it for a year, sometimes, 6 months. it's annoying. but this time they didn't even play any games, they just "found the deal."

Yes to $6 a month, I ask to pay for 12 months so I don't have to repeat quite as often.

Yep, DH always plays the "I'm calling to cancel" game and always gets it for $6 a month. It irritates me that they play these games and that probably lots of people don't know to ask and just pay the $30+ a month.

I'm pretty sure we are also at 6-10 dollars a month.

I absolutely refuse to play their games. I did it for my husband and after he passed I called to cancel. He had a few months left and they wanted me to pay to transfer it to my car. I refused and dropped it. My new car had a three month trial and I hardly used it..I listen to podcasts.

I love it! At my daughter's college graduation 2 yrs. ago, we learned that an alumni developed Sirius XM! Another reason I wanted it. I love the 50s-2000s stations!

I refuse to play their game too. It came with my car and when the free trial was up, I did get it for $5 a month for the next year. But, the idea that I have to call and threaten to cancel over and over is not something I care to do. I just listen to my playlists on my phone or regular radio stations.

I’ve had Sirius XM since 2002, back when it was Sirius and XM was an unrelated competitor. I love satellite radio.

My daughter's three month trial just came to an end and they sent her a deal to continue for $6 a month. She uses Spotify so she didn't renew. My husband loves Sirius and I think he pays full rate because he can't be bothered to play the call and cancel game. I had it for several years and once I started listening to podcasts I decided to not renew and see if i missed it. I do not miss it.

Go on their website and use the chat feature. I just renewed one of ours this week for $60/year. Only took a few minutes thru chat.

I got it for free with my new car, but will not be renewing. It's not worth it to me to pay for programming done by a computer with high repetition and small playlists. I happily pay for Radio Paradise.

My late husband loved Sirius XM. He had eclectic tastes in music and I would never know what kind of music would be playing when I got into his car. I stopped the subscription after he passed away and I won't be adding it to my car. I just don't spend that much time in the car anymore. I know I could use it in the house but I have plenty of options for music without adding more.

Love it! Only my charger has it and DH loves driving my car because of it. I driver over an hour every day for work. Podcasts aren’t worth it to me because I have kids who jabber all the drive. I can sing along to the radio.
We have it online too and stream to the receiver we have in the living room.
I pay $5/mo for 12 mo at a time. This past time they went straight to the deal no hassle.

The lady that helped me last time told me to put the date on the calendar because if it goes even one day past the last 6 months, they charge the higher rate. They also send you notice a few weeks into the next 6 months, so they get to charge you at a higher rate (for that period of time) if you want to renew it for another 6 months. I need to call tomorrow.

I always play the game because I need ALT-Nation for my commute.

Nope.
we got it free when we got our new car. I think it was for 2 mos?
They keep trying to get us to buy a subscription now.
Nope.
Way too expensive. I have podcasts and playlists and audible books. More than enough for me.

I've had it for at least ten years, maybe more, and I always paid the full rate. I tried a few times to get them to lower it and was never successful. I never listen to regular radio - hate it - and I listen online at work too so it was worth it to me. About a year or so ago I gave it one more try and got them to lower my rate to $5/mo. I recently renewed at the same rate.

I've got all access for $60 a year. Love my Sirius. Hate the game.

$60/year. I don’t play the cancel game per se. I don’t call either, they have a nice chat option online so I can do other things online while negotiating. I just did this last month. I start the chat, say my term is up and I would like to renew at the same rate. I’ve never had them refuse. If they do, just tell them you want to cancel, they’ll give you the same rate you had. ETA: I also have access to stream on my phone, so it’s my music at work too.

I had it free with my car and used it once or twice, but really didn’t care for it. My Pandora station is perfectly curated for me at this point and I find the commercials way less distracting then the patter on Sirius. I thought I would enjoy that they had old radio detective shows, but I was never in the car to see how they ended, so I just bought myself some cds at the thrift store. I mostly listen to npr or my alternative 80’s station anyway, so it was not worth it to me. My husband likes it though and plays their games. I think he will stop next round though since he is working from home and doesn’t drive all that much.
