This looks like a lot of fun! For couples, families or friends. For the mystery picnic, they give you a basket and itinerary. You make stops along the way and collect the various items for your picnic. There are also things to do, conversation questions, etc. There are a variety of cities throughout the US to choose from. It’s a different way to see the city. There are other things like food tastings, pub crawl, murder mystery, plus virtual events for stay at home. Games, challenges, girls’ night in. Dd is going to TN for her honeymoon. If they will be close to Nashville I’ll give them one as a gift. amazingco.me/us

I love stuff like this. And what a cool thing to do on honeymoon.
I didn't realize she was getting married/is married. Many congratulations and wishes for a long, happy, healthy marriage.

On dear, I do remember now, as soon as I saw the adorable couple I remembered the bathrobe story.
With things opening up, I'm guessing planning is moving along much easier.

On dear, I do remember now, as soon as I saw the adorable couple I remembered the bathrobe story. With things opening up, I'm guessing planning is moving along much easier. It’s crazy. It all depends on the venue. We asked the questions before signing, bottom line what would happen if restrictions get tighter? Our venue had plenty of room for what we want, so there isn’t an issue. My nephew and his now wife chose a different venue. Theirs tightened up so dramatically, they ended up getting married at a restaurant with just their parents and grandparents. The venue wouldn’t even accommodate for the ceremony outside. They ended up losing their down payment. They plan to have the reception next year sometime. In the meantime they had to move out of state for his job. So I will need to travel to FL if I want to attend.

The ad just showed up on my FB. I sent it to my kids, but I honestly I’d like to do it myself.

I love things like this too! There are opportunities to explore in Portland, which will not be that far from where I am moving to. Now all I need to do is get moved, buy a house, meet people, and find someone to do this with me! I don't know anyone currently living in the city I will be moving to. I do have a friend in Washington, I wonder if she would be up for meeting me in Portland?

I love this stuff. My family o' duds probably wouldn't participate, but I have friends who would. What a great idea. Thank you for the link. I hope that your dd will be in Nashville, so that you can give her a fun gift. What a great idea for the bride and groom.

Lexica , where did you decide to move to? I am looking at homes on Zillow and Realtor.com for the Silverton, Oregon area. It is a smaller town, which really appeals to me. And if I buy in town, I can walk to many of the places I would need. Although just this morning I saw a place for sale just outside of town. It is 6 acres, lots of trees and a year-around running stream. It has a large brand new shop with electric, water, heat, and sewer which would be wonderful to use as a huge hobby area. The shop is new and still unfinished, but the windows and wood to build an attic with stairs is included. I just don't know if I want to live alone on 6 acres. I would probably feel the need to get a big dog or two for protection. The acres are mostly filled with big trees, mostly pine by the look of it, and a large meadow near the house. It has a chicken coop and if I am remembering correctly a greenhouse too. The only drawback on that (well besides having no close neighbors) is that the home is a smaller manufactured home. It is only 2 bedrooms, which would work for me because I just need one guest room for when my son comes to visit. And with that huge shop, I could always have a bedroom created in one end. The large open land sounds wonderful to me. It is all fenced, which would work for a couple of large dogs. There are also some nice homes in town too. I am drawn to the older homes in the older neighborhoods, especially with full unfinished basements, because of the charm and fully-grown landscaping. My son wants me to either buy a new build or land and have something built for me. But that is what they are looking for in a first home in Idaho. I have only purchased new homes and they are a lot of work too. There is all the improvement to the soil, sprinkler system to install (which I kind of enjoy truthfully) and lots and lots of plants to buy. Sure, everything would be nice and new, but the neighborhood would be without charm and grown trees. And finding someplace for my 3 cats would be problematic for the duration of the build process.

I have a cousin there, and spent loads of time there growing up. It's a very charming town with some really beautiful homes. The property with 6 acres sounds lovely and with so much of it woods, it seems like there wouldn't be as much upkeep. I hope you find exactly what you are looking for.
