I received an Amazon marketplace box yesterday addressed to me with an item I never would have ordered. It is a king size white “furry” comforter. I looked up the item and it is over $200. I “chatted” with Amazon but they just told me it was delivered to me by mistake and to keep it. I asked again who sent it to me but all I received were the canned “bot” sentences which never answered my question. I have a birthday next week and my son just graduated high school so we have people sending gifts, but I don’t think anyone would send this.
However, if you have seen my previous post I am big on writing thank you’s and I want to thank someone if they sent it it to me.
Is it possible to talk to a live person?

Amazon support phone #. I called last week and spoke to someone when an order came to my address with the wrong name (not our order).

I was concerned for the person who ordered and didn’t get their item. It wasn’t anything as nice as a $200 blanket! 😁 they said keep or donate.

What I want to know if was a gift sent by someone I should thank or it really was sent to me by mistake. |

Before when this happened to me they wouldn't tell me who sent it, but I threw out some names and cities and when I got to the right one they confirmed who it was from.

I had a box of random stuff sent to me a few years back. No clue who it was from, they wouldn't tell me. I ended up donating most of it.
I love getting random boxes of stuff. Never know what's coming!

Could you look up the tracking number? It's on the box, so you could search for it and see where the box originated. If it's close to somebody you know, perhaps that could narrow it down.

I called Amazon and gave them the tracking number and they wouldn't tell me who sent it. I am pretty sure it was sent in error. I wish I liked it more. I am going to donate it.
