AussieMeg - awesome layout as always, I especially love the photos and stories...it feels so GOOD to hear about the world opening up, and even BETTER to hear about your MacBook! Yay!!! grammadee - your hexagon page is beautiful and entirely suiting to a tribute/goodbye - it's soft and pretty but colourful in it's way, and your watercolours look fabulous! Better than mine! jeremysgirl - What a fabulous layout, I have a black/red layout I need to do and this idea - the glitter red with the matte black - so elegant but lively - is perfect! azcrafty - how adorable are those sharks! I love your cards.

azcrafty , those sharks make a fun card AND gift box. Love your dh's idea for an inside message. One more card for me today with my Maker Mania 3 kit. I admit that I saw the instructions for a shaker card with the fairies, but when I didn't have the extra supplies needed for that, I just let the card become what it wanted to be G45 shaker card by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I practiced a bit--with mixed results--over the last few days stamping with liquid glue and then applying the flakes, but for this card I decided to just use two sided tape for the foiling. My main issue is no patience with letting the glue dry to the right consistency before doing the next step. In that way, the tape was much easier--ready as soon as I ripped off the backing. But I want to go back to the stamping b/c if I do it right every stamp I have could actually yield a foiled image without a heat gun.

I was uncertain about these cards but you ladies are so encouraging and I figure someone will like them (there's a lid for every pot, that's what they say, right?) so I stopped overthinking and put them up in my shop. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr inside both versions June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I'm not sure this style is really "me" -shrug- I have one more I should send to my dad as a belated birthday card, but I'm late even doing that... I made this as a basic "miss you" card but I think the sentiment still works. I tried to stamp my tiny "miss you" stamp but the results weren't great so I decided just to handwrite it. It took several tries but turned out a bit better than the stamp, although my font is not quite as cute as the stamp would've been. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr btw I used a highlighter on the "radium" numbers. lol. I think it added a little extra something!

I am a big fan of your cards, @jblackford, and of clocks, so all of these look great to me! Will look at them more closely on Flickr.

Thank you your comment about the blue watercolor made my brain jump to an idea: these stamps would probably look pretty cool embossed in white with Blueprint Sketch distress ink over the top! Something to try... different, and no coloring required... thanks for the inadvertent inspiration

joblackford, I love those stamps and think you made them look so cool. The inking/coloring makes such a difference. I love the highlighter radium numbers. Clever idea. I think your idea about blueprint sounds great. I can't wait to see your results. Your Time Flies and Miss You card is perfect. What a long, lonely year we have all had.

Cool cards joblackford. Did you use the C&9th brushed letters? I really like it. I needed a Bcard for a special girl who is turning 21. I meet her when she turned 1 years old, where did the time go? http://instagram.com/p/CQCdmVop58B

I need to go back through the thread and look at all the creations! I've not been scrappy lately but I did make 4 (identical) graduation cards recently and two layouts tonight for DS's Hawaii album

There is, as always, fantastic inspiration in this thread. I’m hoping to use that inspiration when I get back gone from my trip to finally get my pages for 2021 started.

I started with a sketch, but left it behind when I realized I wanted to cut apart the concentric rectangles of colour on this Vicki B. pp, and "cascade" them down the page. Die cut my title and layered them up. Again How many ways can I get a rainbow on my layout? I honestly can't get tired of colour! layout rearview mirror by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Did you use the C&9th brushed letters? I really like it. Thanks. Yes! The capital letters are the Bold and Brushy ones, the lower case is from the set I got with the UK magazine. The inside you is an MFT stamp.

azcrafty there are so many things to love about that birthday card. With the swoopy border, the gold, the drink glasses, it just screams "Celebration!". How old were you when you met this young lady, ten? Glad to see you back in your scraproom, Linda. Those cards are really elegant. And I love how your Hawaii pages highlight the photos with just a pop of colour and pattern that ties in perfectly with the theme. Gotta head up to the gallery to leave some love for kitbop and AussieMeg.

This week's planner spread mostly complete. Please note, I don't really use it that much for it's purpose. I just put things in there as I like. I also need to look into getting some dye ink, lots of smears. ComplicatedLady generously sent me two stamp sets and stickers. In the second photo in the lower right hand corner I used two of the stamps. KelleeM , I'm using the emoji stamps!

Two 2-pagers for me today. This first still needs journaling, but I put it together during today's virtual crop after creating the pieces yesterday. The photos are from when justjac and I picked up our supplies for Maker Mania 3. Covid regulations said we had to be masked in the store. When we took the masks off for the second photo, we hurriedly stepped 6 feet apart. I wanted to use MM3 supplies and techniques for the most part. Used the dies, embossing folder, lustre wax, stamp and gilding flakes, and the G45 paper pack. The LO design started with the May 15 Sketchy Saturday: Ready for Maker Mania by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This second page started as a take on Shimelle's latest half & half class. My photos are larger than hers, so ended up taking most of the space, but I managed to fit in some themed diecuts (premade and cut myself).
POINTS: four pages created & shared (8), R-1 sketchy Saturday (5), R-3 nine photos for Donna challenge (45), P-1 seven wood embellishments (7), P-2 puffy letters (1), P3 one word strip (1), P-4 sequines (2), P-5 florals (2), S/I-1 sun (1), S/I-2 circles (4), S/I-4 flowers (2), s/I-5 banner (1), C/M-3 gold cord and gold Nuvo's (3), T-2 paper crimper (5), T-3 new dies and embossing folders (4), T8 stamped flowers (2), T-9 inked edges (4), P-11 popped up elements (3), N/S-2 (18), N/# 5x7's (2), N/S-6 six piece clusters (10). Total: 130.

A lot of organizing and a little scrapping today. One pocket-page one-side and a layout to document how much I love documenting in layouts.

It would be fun to create an album just about crafting , products I like and the state of my craftroom. To bad I didn't take pics before I re-did my room. Love how colorful the Lo is.

So weird..... I was trying to find a layout that I have been working for a while, and I came across this one that I had done and not quite finished in May - I had forgotten all about it! I think I was going to use it for my Sketchy Saturday then ended up using a different sketch. I used the 'Cheer' kit by Just Jaimee.

I started this layout in April, but I couldn't get it to the point where I was happy with it. I kept putting it aside, thinking that I would look at it after a week or two with fresh eyes, and maybe be able to add some more embellishments and finish it. I added a couple of things plus some journaling today, and I'm calling it done, I'm just not getting anywhere with it. I used the 'Friendship' kit by Just Jaimee, and a PageMaps sketch. I didn't take the B&W photo, it was from the festival's Facebook page.

Here are the rest of the projects I did while camping but needed some finishing touches at home. You took your scrapbook stuff camping? I take a crochet project with me camping, but I've never even considered scrapbooking while camping. Yes, I have quite a few purchased kits so I thought this would be a good time to get them done, however I had not factored in the internet connection and access to the tutorials. I often take scrapbooking projects to work on, I have done a lot of cataloging of my stamps and dies while camping. It is difficult to work on projects that need a lot of creative thought as I would be unable to pack up all the bits & bobs that I might want to use. I also do my Courthouse project while on the road because those have a set structure to each page and then only have to add the embellishment when I return home.
