What a beautiful gift Francine gave the mother and what a splendid gift the psychiatrist gave to Francine.

What a moving story. 🥰. In case anyone else was confused as to why the baby was referred to as a he in parts of the video, I found this explanation: “ In French, bébé (baby) is a masculine word, so it was translated as he. So although the baby was in fact a girl, she was correctly referred to as le bébé and not la bébé, which doesn’t exist.”. Source: www.karmatube.org/videos.php?id=6829

Source: www.karmatube.org/videos.php?id=6829I didn’t watch the video, but bébé is masculine, whether it’s a girl or a boy. So you would say, “mon bébé” or “le bébé” (my baby or the baby). The word itself is masculine. If you wanted to designate the child as a girl, I’ve seen it as both, “mon bébé fille” (my baby daughter), which is masculine because the article corresponds to bébé, or “ma fille bébé” (also my baby daughter), but is feminine because the article corresponds with fille. I hope that’s clear!
