General Milley, IMO, handed Gaetz his ass in the hearing today. And the tweet is Gaetz’s petty response.
Now I don’t like Gaetz, that aside, I think his tweet insulted the men and women who serve in our military.

Let me start out by saying that I don’t like Gaetz and don’t want to agree with or defend him.
However, saying that America fights more wars than it wins seems more like a fact than an insult.
I would argue that we’ve lost every conflict we’ve entered into since WWII. I mean, we clearly didn’t win Korea, Vietnam, the things we tried in Cuba, or whatever the hell we’ve been doing in the Middle East since 9/11.
Maybe it was an insult to military leadership (which frankly doesn’t have a great track record), but I don’t think it was insulting to the average soldier.

I do not consider it a slam on our military. It is more a slam on Gaetz and how he cannot even WRITE what the insult he means. |

Making the military inclusive to the entire population just makes sense -- why try to keep out excellent candidates who might be different than the traditional members? That's not woke, that's just smart. And university-level courses on the law are exactly where CRT belongs. Military academies are universities meant to develop officers with great critical thinking skills. They aren't just an extended version of basic training. |

Gaetz is such a moron, our military shouldn't even bother getting insulted. Gen. Milley swatted him like a bug without breaking stride. Nothing to see here. Yeah, it's probably insulting, but seems like a waste of perfectly good outrage.

Gaetz is a sex trafficker. If he weren't under the protective cover of the GOP, he'd have been raked over hot coals and shamed out of office by said GOP. Hence, his words have no weight whatsoever.
His critical thinking skills are lacking when he resorts to short quips when he knows he's been bested.
