Didn’t the Republicans already do this to Liz Cheney for telling the truth?

I really wish Democrats would stop pretending there is a bipartisan way to do anything.

First, the Democrats agreed to all of their conditions and called their bluff. Almost all of the Republicans voted against it. Now they're voting against a committee and calling it partisan. The Democrats appointed a Republican to the committee, but it was the wrong Republican? They should have appointed crazy MTG or sleazeball Matt Gaetz? Liz Cheney owes McCarthy exactly nothing and does not need his approval to be on the committee. His threat was an empty one, he already stripped her of her committees. Did the Republicans actually think the Democrats should appoint someone who voted against the committee? Exactly who is acting in a partisan way and being unreasonable? The actions of the Republicans lately are indefensible. I give Kinzinger credit for this comment “I do think the threat of removing committees is ironic, because you won't go after the space lasers and white supremacist people but those who tell the truth,” he said of McCarthy’s threat to strip committee assignments from any members picked by Pelosi to serve on the panel. www.politico.com/news/2021/07/01/kinzinger-jan-6-investigation-threat-497505
