I'm considering dropping my AE SBTM kit and moving on to an Elle Studio subscription. I have almost 2 years' worth of AE kits that I've barely touched. AE is pricey, the add-ons are pricey, and I'm not always crazy about the color schemes. I do love the classroom content though.
For those of you that subscribe to ES, do you find it's a good value? How is their customer service? Is their shipping prompt? Is their website easier to navigate than AE's? I have some of their Title Builder sets and have some product from a few of their sales, but wasn't sure about committing.

I've had a subscription off and on through the years. I tend to have a sub in the summer months, I have tons of summer photos and I like the bright colors. I shop mostly during their sales and love their stuff. I've never had an AE subscription, so I can't compare. However, Elles Studio website is easy to navigate, customer service is excellent, shipping is always on time and I think its a good value. I'm a big fan of their labels, puffy stickers and stamps.

I’ve subbed here and there to Elle’s Studio. Shipping is fast, service is top notch. Absolutely love supporting her.
Unfortunately, I think her designs are superrrr repetitive and overall look very “flat”. They are great basics for a foundation you might want to embellish a bunch. So that’s why I only occasionally sub in. Otherwise, ES is a really nice shop! Her puffy stickers are fabulous.

I just started subscribing to ES a few months ago. I'm loving it so far. My plan is to subscribe for six months or so and re-evaluate then. This is my first subscription to a "kit" so I can't compare it to anything. Website has been easy to navigate, the prices seem reasonable, and the shipping has been prompt. If I drop it will be because I haven't had the time to scrapbook and use the products. Right now I'm combining households with my fiance, selling my house, looking for a new home, and planning a wedding. Between all that and the normal stuff there hasn't been too much free time lately to scrapbook.

I don’t subscribe to Elles studio but I do buy there and I have had no issues.
I specifically like how things continue to coordinate over time. For example there are a few die sets that have multiple stamp sets that coordinate.

I've subscribed for almost 2 years now and love it. As others have said, easy to navigate website, quick shipping and response time if you have a problem or question, etc. I love the simple designs and also that almost all the kits coordinate with each other! It makes the kits easy to combine and use up your stash.
Edited to add: I also subbed to Ali's monthly kits and never used them (cancelled the AE kit sub) and switched to Elle's studio and haven't regretted that decision.

Elle’s studio is lovely if you like the style. Colors coordinate month to month, it’s affordable. I subbed for 6 months. In the end it wasn’t for me. Too repetitive, I like variety in color and theme. I never use the stamps, something about the font. Maybe try it and see how you like it?

But the designs get repetitive after awhile.

I have for over a year now. What I like is the simple designs that coordinate well together. It’s super easy for me to pull in from my stash to elaborate where I want. I like that the amount for each month is a nice base where I can use it all vs too much. And since the embellishments coordinate over the months they don’t go to waste if I don’t use them all for the month.

I love the subscriber discounts. I question its value for me because I am not a PL Scrapbooker. That is why I join/quit often. Their stuff is adorable, but not always for me. Their customer service is excellent. I have zero trouble canceling, I had a problem placing an order once and everything has been fantastic. I don’t have specific issues w/ AE website but I also do not have trouble w/ Elle’s. Their shipping is prompt. One thing to note is that the thickness of the paper is much thinner than AE. It is not a problem for me, but wanted you to be aware.

Thank you for all of the input. I appreciate it. I question its value for me because I am not a PL Scrapbooker. This is a good point. I use pocket pages, but I'm not a dedicated PL scrapbooker. I wonder if that would feel limiting too.

+1 to the repetitiveness, but I like that part of it.
I mainly get the kit + coordinating alphas every month and extra papers if I like the patterns. Seeing the sneeks this month I'll probably get the puffy stickers too.
Kits go up the 10th, mine usually ships around the 12th, and I have it by the 15th -- so it's a pretty quick turnaround imo

I have had my subscription since January. I am not a PL scrapper but I love the labels and die cuts. They do have sale prices on a few items if you are a subscriber and add to your box. They don't charge any extra for shipping those add ons. I love the title builder stamp sets and they did have puffy stickers that went with them. I think they ship fast and I have never needed the customer service. I will probably cancel when my year is up and try something new.

One thing that hasn’t been mentioned is that there is no commitment - you can cancel any time, no penalty. The perks of subbing is you’re guaranteed a kit, you get 20% off several of the new releases each month, you get a free printable set and free cut file set each month, you can bundle on release day for no extra shipping, and it’s all very easy and no drama. Yes, it may get repetitive after a while, but I think that happens with every kit club or even paper manufacturer. I like the consistency in color and style. The addons are great, and you can get as many or as few as you want each month. Their stamps and dies are great addon purchases too. She also throws in a free 3x4 month card with each purchase. It’s a little thing, but it’s a nice touch.

I love Elle's Studio. I don't sub to her kits, but we have a UK-based retailer that works with Elle's Studio to sell the monthly kits + addons at the same time as they are released on ES. I purchase from the retailer so I can get the supplies in a few days rather than a few weeks.
It is a simple style but I find it so easy to use and mix in with other products from other companies.
I love all the bits and pieces they do too - the cork, the wood veneer.
They feel like one of the few manufacturers that actually make easy to use and decent sized pocket page embellishments, at a very good price.
