I have been doing IM for about 6 months quite successfully. I do 18:6 and eat between 12 and 6pm. The problem is I have always loved breakfast the best. I am struggling with waiting until noon to eat. I was used to it for a while and now I am struggling all over again. I'd like to move my time to 10-4. I know I can do that, BUT.... What if that doesn't work out for me? Can I move it back to 12-6 without a problem? Does anyone move their time around?

Of course you can. Nothing will happen 😊

You could try moving it a half hour at a time and see how you make out. That way it doesn’t feel so drastic.

Your window can be whenever you want it to be. Also, if you love breakfast best, your first meal can be breakfast, no matter the time of day

Of course you can move it around. I did 14/10 when I was doing that, but was flexible for things like...life. lol

Actually, mixing things up is supposed to be better for weight loss.

My recommendation is stay in bed until your window opens. There are people who believe you should move your window around for better results. Not sure that really matters.

My window is usually 1-7, but I shift it later sometimes if we are going out or not eating dinner until after 7. Dropping breakfast was natural/easy for me because I rarely ate before 10 anyway. If you normally eat more in the morning I would definitely shift the eating window earlier. IMHO, most people tend to have a window that accommodates eating a family dinner but if that isn't a factor for you most days go for breakfast .

Stinking work!! Yep, that! I am eating oatmeal right now (just opened my window). Also, if I am hungry in the morning, I have my cinnamon tea. It works for me. I am drinking that right now. In the winter IM was much easier because I'd drink 4-5 cups of tea in the morning. Now that it is boiling hot, I am struggling a bit more with that. Just finished a big cuppa, so I'm feeling pretty good.

Really Red I don't drink it hot. I keep a jug of it in the refrigerator. I drink it cold or at room temp (if it's been sitting out). I never, ever drink it hot. I don't like hot drinks. Try it that way. You may find you love it. And occasionally, I will add a splash (maybe 1/8 cup) to my Yeti. Adds a tiny tad of wonderfulness to my water.

I've been fasting for over 4 years and move my window all the time. I average 19-20 hours most days. Some days are longer and some days are shorter. Just what ever I need it to be.

Actually moving your eating window around is a good idea. Depending what my work schedule is I move mine around often. No worries.
