I know we have a lot of readers here. I started strong at the beginning of the year but have slogged to almost a halt. I have decided to give audio books a go at the office. As long as they are not too involved. I can listen with my ear buds and halt as needed. I also have to answer the phone so another reason to not have something to really have to pay attention to.
I do try to get most of my books from my public library but we don't have a system that is as up to date with new releases as I would prefer. I did have one of those memberships, can't remember the name at the moment, of the library system of the largest library I would think in my state. However, a couple of years ago, they stopped those memberships. Reciprocal? Is that it?
I am a member of BOTM for a physical book every month. I grab the free e-books on Amazon(first of the month reads) and grab one every now and then at the right price.
I was scrolling through FB today and saw an ad for Scribd. I am thinking of the 30 day free trial. I know most of us hate to pay for something like this. I am just trying to find out if it is worth it. The first page of the site has some really good titles.

YES!! I've been using Scribd for a few years now and I LOVE it! There are very few books that I can't find there and I mostly look for newer fiction. Many times they have new releases, on release day. I highly recommend it!

Oh and another question Rhondito , I either use my phone(android) or my Kindle Fire. Do you use an app specifically for Scribd. I used Overdrive on both of my devices. And thank you for such a glowing review. ETA: ohhhh doh! I just scrolled and saw the app. I need to see if it is in the Amazon app store.

I have an iPhone and they have a Scribd app that downloads both audio and e-books, but I only use the audio versions.
