An email arrived with the registration information for an annual crop in November. Of course we couldn’t go last year because of Covid. I’m looking forward to a few days away with my sister and our friends. We hang out and scrapbook on Zoom every Saturday but it’s not the same as being together in person. And it’s part of “normal” which we all need.

Vacation Bible School! I didn’t sign up to help, but popped in to drop off some
Snacks and hang out a bit. I ended up immediately finding myself a job of dealing with traffic bc the parking lot was a mess. I ran in and grabbed a yellow safety vest and got busy. Now I have a job the rest of the week. 😂
Also one of my BFFs is moving out of state. Her closest friends, me and two others, are planning TWO events - one is a big churchwide luncheon on behalf of her and dh we were asked to head up, and the other is an intimate tea with her close friends. Neither is a surprise. The texts, phone calls and ideas have been flying. It’s going to be super special for them and we are so glad to be able to do this for them.
