I’ve been arguing with anti-vaxxers on my NextDoor. Probably not endearing myself to some of my neighbors, but whatever. Maybe this Republican flip-flop will encourage some of them to change their minds. (Don’t get me wrong, most of the locals are very pro-vax, but there are some strident dissidents. And I enjoy the debate.)  |

My money is on this and the potential for some class action lawsuits against various political leaders and news organizations. When you lead the anti-vax parade and suddenly the vast majority of people getting ill and DYING are the un-vaxed you are the rightful target to blame. |

It's hilarious (and not hilarious) that these GOP leads are trying to turn the vaccine narrative now. What they don't understand is that Q and Tenpenny and Mercola and several dozen other sociopaths are way out ahead of them and have driven that narrative over the cliff. It's way too late now.

That’s why we’ve got friends on here trying to blame the VP for Trumpers’ vaccine refusal. That’s their narrative now - these hardcore Trumpers supposedly weren’t listening to him or Hannity or MTG or Scalise. It’s all Kamala Harris’ fault. But also, last week, the Biden administration suggesting a door to door vaccination effort was just like the KGB knocking down your door. 2+2 always equals 18 to those folks, as long as it keeps them from taking any responsibility for their own words or actions. |

She said early on (quite reasonably, I think) that she wouldn't take Trump's word for it that these were safe. She wanted to hear from experts, that they were safe. Because not taking the word of a pathological lying liar who lies and lies, is somehow deemed unreasonable. And honestly its one of the bigger and more ridiculous bad faith arguments i've seen made, because none of the people making it, would listen to her, regardless.
