I need to make a bunch of birthday cards this month. Hoping to meet the 12 card challenge again.
Will by busy with family for quite a few days what with their coming here or our going there, so not alot of scrappy time for me, but I know I will have lots of fun pic's to scrap, hoping to get a bunch printed on our way home, and I have some cool papers sitting on a pile behind the counter at our LSS to be picked up mid month.

grammadee - I didn't quite make the 12 card challenge in July - only got 10 cards done - but am planning to try again in August. Right now I have my birthday folder out so hopefully I can get some more birthday cards done and use up my less than inspiring papers/scraps/stickers so I have an excuse to look for a collection or pad that better works with my photos for layouts.

OMG it’s August!
As usual id like to stay current in my planner. I hope to keep the mojo I’ve had going as July spreads have been some of my favorite.
And I’d like to keep plugging away at the pictures I printed last month.
I have another in person craft class in 2 weeks I can’t wait.

I usually only scrapbook trips we take, but it's looking more and more like we are not going to go anywhere this year.
So, to fill that void, I have decided to make a scrapbook of (almost) all of the ticketed events we've gone to together. We worked together today to match up tickets with programs (most of our ticketed events are hockey games), and other items associated with the games (wristbands for the court-side seats I get through work, pennant giveaway from a game, things like that). I'm also going to print off pictures of us from the events or that I took at them (we saw Jeopardy! being filmed a few years ago), and also going to print small versions of the box scores from games.
(I say almost because we've gone to a few minor league hockey games, but those are already scrapbooked in their respective trip books.)

I joined a local card swap so I will need to complete that by the end of the month. I was thinking about starting the Everyday Explorers positivity passport but haven't decided yet. I'd also like to keep working on project life layouts from this year (still stuck in January) but we shall see. Hopefully with school starting next week I'll have more time to do things I want to do.

Goals for the month are:
- Keep up with Project Life - Make 2-3 12x12 layouts - Make 2 birthday cards (one for mom, the other for my niece) - Start on some Christmas cards
My oldest (7) should FINALLY be back in school full-time at the end of this month, so I'm crossing my fingers for some more free time during the day.

I’m happy with how much I accomplished last month. I didn’t exactly stick to my goals but I still scrapped regularly.
This month I want to finish up all the sketches for Allison Davis’ class. I have 4 1/2 left to do so I’m almost there.
The not so fun thing I need to do is get pictures organized. I need to get pictures off of my phone which has turned into an ordeal since they started being stored as heic instead of jpeg. What a pain. I also need to get pictures off of my camera. Then choose pictures to scrap, edit, upload, and order them. I hate that part of scrapping.
I’ve been avoiding my Disney album. I need to show it some love and at least cut a few titles.

Already August!
This month I need to scrap the end of (virtual) school pics I took from June. I want to be able to start fresh for the new school year starting in a little less than a month.
I have just recently started our zoo scrapbook. I did go with a 12x12 album. I've decided that I want this to be a very embellished, and to have lots of fun with it.

I want to get in track with my project life, almost finished June and then have to work out what I am putting in for the 2nd half of July. I am usually half a month behind but I have been a bit slack.
Get started on my Girls weekend away pages for my travel album. I worked out what photos and page protectors I want to use and I edited and uploaded the photos from my phone last night. I need to collect the photos at some stage this week and then I can pick what collection I will use for the album and at least get the photos into the protectors.

I want to: *do the August Sheetload of cards, hopefully using the CTMH stamps and paper I was given *keep up with Project Life - pictures are on order, so put them in the pockets, embellish, journal and put in anything I kept to add to the pocket *make at least two shaker Christmas cards *decide if I want a manual die cutting machine or not (space versus how much I'll use it, that's the issue)

I'm sorry I haven't been on here as much as I would like. I have 2 crops this month. I have been teaching a friend to scrapbook by putting together 8x8 scrapbooks that are just alike for her daughter and my granddaughter. Several peas provided supplies for us that we are so excited to use so THANK YOU!! We already have 20 pages done so I had to buy album extenders and more page protectors. She has learned some pretty 'advanced' techniques right out of the gate! We have paper pieced, pop dotted, inked, distressed, layered and used such fun theme elements!
Of course because of that I am even further behind on my own photos. I went to CKC and worked on my son's California photos. Those are fun and I think I may keep working on them this month. Maybe I could even finish them!
My purchases from CKC are still in a big pile. Maybe I will try to put them away this month.
I want to order from Scrapbook.com with the free shipping but most of the Family Fun collection is still unavailable so I'm going to pass. I overspent by several hundred dollars at the convention......

Here are my August goals:
1. Get started in my new memory planner with stories + photos so I can refer back easily when I do decide to make a scrappy album down the line. 2. Order photos. 3. Start my 6x8 "year after year" volume 1 Christmas album. 4. Begin prepping the 2021 December Daily MEGAAA thread (prompts, news about the 2021 holiday movies, etc.). 5. Pick a focus for the month and photograph + document said focus.

My goals:
* finish up some albums that are nearly done 1. 2019 PL - literally only has one layout needed so I need to stop being a slacker and just do it! 2. 2020 PL - 3 pages left to complete. I'd like to do at least one of these (although all 3 would be better) * finish the half done page in my current PL album that I put away even though I still need to do the journaling * continue working through the Allison Davis 6x6 sketches * finish at least one of the two outstanding Shimelle half and half sketches
Aside from these I want to keep my PL album from this year reasonably up to date. I've only got half a dozen pages at most to be completely up to date and I have journaling done for most of that saved in a word doc, so this should be pretty achievable.

I want to get January-July PL photos in their PP. I started on 8/2 and have Jan-Mar done as well as July. Then I’ll add cards and finish embellishing.
Start my 2021 vacation album.
Tryout some of the new dies I picked up. I don’t use them nearly enough.
Start organizing my PL stuff. Really by whole craft area again but I need to start smaller.

I ordered July prints, and they arrived, so my goal today is to separate two zoo trips (taken that month) into page protectors. Then maybe I'll add background paper, embellishments, etc.
I still need to start/finish the last day of school layouts.
I'm maybe/ probably going to split my pandemic album between two albums, 2020 & 2021. Just one album makes it about to burst.
I have lots of layouts in progress that I'd like to finish, to clear them from my shelves.

Yesterday I sorted July zoo pics into page protectors, then stored them in the album to work on another day.
Finished and put away some everyday layouts. Identified which in progress layouts to work on next.
Started last day of school layouts, but then was promptly beckoned from my scrapping to go check out Lego creations, and one thing led to another, and that was the end of my scrapping for the day. But a good day.
I'm excited to pull the zoo album out again and start picking background paper for each layout.
Also excited to start putting together July pandemic layouts. Probably 2. I'm glad I separated the years. I read through all the layouts I already made, and it's incredible how this emergency has progressed. I'm very happy that I wrote journaling down in the moment because of how quickly things changed week to week and month to month.
I'm going to continue with my pandemic albums until I feel they're done. Just will go with my gut on that one.
Yesterday I ordered 12x12 page protectors, as I'm running low.

Today I'm trying to finish in progress layouts, of which I have many.
I finished two so far. Both last day of school layouts.
Now I have nine pages from a fair we went to in June, all spread out in varying degrees of progress.
