What Gov Hutchinson was busy tweeting yesterday
I guess all his non-JudeoChristian constituents can go F' themselves and/or he believes that he's the preacher-in-chief of his state.

Guess again my friend. We are bible-thumping, God-fearing 'Mericans here! Unless some of us have a brain that their grandmother told them "God gave you a brain. He and I expect you to use them." So I do. Loved that woman.

I don’t understand it either. We use it as a pour on when we work our cattle each year. But evidently there is an IV solution that is supposed to be effective against COVID when mixed with water and ingested. The med is used to treat some things in humans, but not the animal version. Scratching my head…. Ivermectin is used in humans, I thought it was the same as used in veterinary medicine? I’m not saying he’s not spreading misinformation, but Ivermectin was part of some recommended protocols last year IIRC, but current science does not support that. I looked for the one source I know I had saved but they removed it from their server…which should tell you something. Eta: I lied, they just moved it. Here is some info, I make no claim as to the veracity of the claims or the group as a scientific body. Just wanted you to see what was out there. link Oxford University is currently investigating use of ivermectin as a covid treatment www.ox.ac.uk/news/2021-06-23-ivermectin-be-investigated-possible-treatment-covid-19-oxford-s-principle-trial

And the time to self-medicate with it is after it’s recommended by from medical community.

But they won't take Covid vaccines that do have emergency FDA approval. Also proven to prevent Covid in most cases and those not, are mild.

Just got off the phone with my stepmother, who lives in Arkansas. She and my father are round the clock Fox watchers. She and my father are fully vaxxed. She acknowledged that Arkansas's numbers are bad, but found a way to blame it on the Biden administration saying that they should be pouring more research into vaccines that fight the variants. Trying to wrap my mind around the disconnect.

Trying to wrap my mind around the disconnect. That’s their whole thing now - it’s Biden’s fault that people didn’t get vaccinated. 🙄Most of these people, unfortunately, will never realize just how badly conned they’ve been.

I repeat, be Oden has done everything possible to get everyone vaccinated, short of carrying them on his back.
Free vaccine, free rides, local pharmacies as well as chain drug stores, Walmart, box stores etc...

The situation in Arkansas worries me greatly. My FIL lives there, and is fully vaccinated, but he is also 88 years old. Tonight on ABC news, it was reported that the entire state of Arkansas only had a total of 8 available ICU beds. I did not fact-check this, but regardless of the actual number of available beds, I’m sure the situation is dire. I’m especially worried because at the age of 88 (almost 89), my FIL maybe in need of urgent medical care for any number of reasons, and I’m scared he won’t be able to get care if hospitals are maxed out with COVID patients.
DH and I last visited in October 2019, and have a trip booked to visit this October, but I’m worried this surge might affect our plans. We are planning to be gone for a few weeks, and would like to do some sightseeing in Northern Arkansas and Southern Missouri, but those plans may need to be cancelled. It’s really frustrating to try and make the choice that is best for us and FIL, even though we are all fully vaccinated.

Ole Miss football team and staff, 100% vaccinated! The state with the lowest vaccination rate in the United States has college football's first known team to be 100 percent vaccinated. Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin told ESPN's Chris Low on Sunday that every player, coach and staff member on the team has been vaccinated, thanks to a program-wide push before the season. The Ole Miss program had reportedly been far from 100 percent vaccinated at the start of the summer, but made quick progress, especially with the threat of a forfeited game due to a COVID-19 outbreak hanging over their heads. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey indicated at SEC media days that schools would face a forfeit if they cannot field a healthy team. sports.yahoo.com/lane-kiffin-ole-miss-football-players-staff-100-percent-vaccinated-031348792.htmlBRAVO!!

Arkansas not such good news.... Your children are suffering COVID-infected children in Arkansas arriving at hospitals with 'wrecked lungs': According to The Atlantic, COVID-19 is spreading catastrophically in Arkansas — and unlike past outbreaks, this one is attacking children aggressively. "In recent weeks, Arkansas Children's — the only pediatric hospital system in Arkansas, where vaccine uptake has been especially sluggish — has admitted far more children than at any other point in the pandemic," writes reporter Katherine Wu. *** Jessica Snowden, Arkansas Children's chief of pediatric infectious disease, tells Wu that she's now seeing roughly three times as many children at a time in her hospital and all of them are unvaccinated. *** "Many of Arkansas Children's new COVID-19 patients are also much more ill than before," said the report. "They're coming in with wrecked lungs, struggling to breathe; they're not bouncing back with typical youthful resilience, despite having been very healthy before ... It's become common for more than half of the kids in the ICU to be on ventilators. A few have been in the hospital for more than a month." www.rawstory.com/children-and-19/

Are we surprised that the same people who believe that unlimited school kids are an acceptable sacrifice to their gun rights also don't care how many school kids die of Covid? Freedom, y'all.

There are FOURTEEN ICU beds available for ALL patients in Arkansas? 14 ICU beds for 3 million people? I'm sorry but no, nope, nuh-uh. How is this possible? Are they doing emergency transfers of Covid-19 patients to other states to free up space? One bad traffic accident and they're out of beds. This is bonkers.

Hey that's a good number. 🙄 we only had 1 ICU bed day before yesterday. Oh and there is already one school district in eastern AR that has 54ish positive cases resulting in 900, NINE HUNDRED, students and teachers in quarantine!!

I wish people would actually listen - we are seeing it here - not as bad but still more and sicker than before, but still there are rallies and demands for kids to go back without masks.

At least they are quarantining them - I don't think they do that everywhere until the kid presents with symptoms they can continue in some places even if they are exposed

I'm home today with coughing, sneezing, sinus congestion, and sore throat. All new symptoms of the Delta variant. I did a rapid test today to be sure. It was negative.
