I have just started. I noticed that I am not craving salt. That a lone is worth to me.

I am hearing about it to reduce glucose spikes, to reduce sugar cravings etc but can’t decide if I’d actually drink it. Is it horrible? Mind you I don’t like vinegar-y flavours generally. Do you drink it diluted in a glass of water- that’s how I’ve seen it recommended.

I put in a glass of water with a lot of ice. Or diet Shasta grapefruit side. It’s not bad. I don’t think I could do straight shots.

I’ve read about it for glucose issues as well, but no way could I drink it. I wonder if the pills work as well for that purpose.

I just got home from Mom and Dad's. Dad is taking the gummy version of ACV. He has been for a while but notices no difference but they taste good. LOL! He let me try a sample. I am not going to invest or ingest.

I like ACV. My sister, who is very into natural remedies, uses ACV rather a lot. We have ACV and baking soda with a bit of water - we call them volcanos - as an assist in getting rid of a cold My brothe was having some digestive issues and started ACV before bed -cleared up his digestive matters.

I saw the ACV drink somewhere online - the woman said you have to use the vinegar that has dregs at the bottom - not the clear kind. She mixes 3 tsp ACV, 1 tsp honey, 1/2 juice one lemon. then she adds that to her water (still or sparkling) over the course of the day. It's supposed to be good for digestion and weight loss. I was just going to try it this week to see if I feel any different, as I tend towards low blood sugar and sugar cravings.

I tried doing a shot in the mornings before breakfast, but it got harder and harder to do until I was almost gagging just thinking about it. I switched to the Goli gummies.

I remember my mother drinking vinegar every morning until she couldn’t stand it any more. That was back in the ‘60s. She also drank shots of olive oil for a short time. She was always trying some new thing to lose weight. All she ever had to do was cut calories but that never occurred to her.

I've tried and can keep up with it for only a few days. I've wondered though if the acidity is bad for tooth enamel. Every time I think I might try it, I think about my teeth.

Diluted with raw honey, kinda tastes like apple cider.

I suppose if you drink it quickly and then rinse/brush really well after, it wouldn't be too bad. But sipping on it all day is a really bad idea. I keep apple cider vinegar on hand for kitchen burns. After running the burned spot under running water, I alternate using ice and soaking it in the vinegar. This is my tried and true. (You don't have to have vinegar with the mother dregs, either.)

For those that don't know, IF you want to try it for health purposes, you need the kind with the "mother" (the sludgy, gross looking stuff that sinks to the bottom).
Yes, I will sometimes gulp a glass full of ACV for my burning stomach (Coffee hurts my tummy, but I REFUSE to give it up! ) ACV does hurt my throat, though. I mix it with 16 oz. / 500 ml of sugar-free gatorade OR fresh lemon juice, honey, and water because it does taste HORRIBLE!
I can't say for sure if it's helped my blood glucose levels, but I *think* it has. I recently started cutting wayyy back on white sugar and white flour so THAT may be why my fasting glucose lowered quite a bit.
Whether it's the combo of the ACV AND diet change or just the diet change, I don't care....I'm thrilled!

I have never tried it, but my Aunt used to drink a tablespoon every morning.
She lived to be 95, don't know if that helped or if it was just that she came from hardy pioneer stock.
I have seen the capsules in the vitamin aisle and have been wondering if they have any healing /medicinal benefits.

I have a drink I make when my throat is getting tickly -- warm water with honey, ginger, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, a dash of cayenne pepper, and then lemon, lime, and pineapple juice. The vinegar can definitely be overpowering. I usually put in just a cap full.

I've heard the same things, and also that it's hard on the teeth, so drinking it throughout the day sounds like a bad idea. I think I'd rather guzzle it all at once and be done.

I just bought a new bottle when I did my grocery shopping yesterday, but that's for cooking. I have never (nor would I ever) drink it. Certainly not straight, anyway.

I usually use one of my hubby's empty gatorade bottles, fill it up with cold water, squeeze half a lemon or half an orange and drink. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to finish. It has brought my a1c down but I really haven't had any weight loss. Jennifer

It's really good for heartburn. DH has taken it a few times and it stops it right away. As scrappintoee said the kind with the mother is the kind you should be using.

I can't even stand the smell of it I did try to have some (in water) every morning for a bit because my doctor recommended it for my high cholesterol, but I just couldn't do it ... dh had some capsules that he no longer wanted, so I've been taking those with my other supplements ... I don't suppose they do much as compared with the liquid version, but at least I can stand them--although they smell yucky, too! I've not heard of the gummy version--are they more potent than the capsules? I could probably stomach those if they are worth it ...
