It's 2021 FFS, why are they doing paper cards? It will be interesting to see whether other countries will accept ye olde paper cards when international travel is allowed again (assuming other countries will require proof of vaccination). We're going to St. John USVI in December. The island isn't accepting the cards (and they're a U. S. territory!) nor are they accepting an antibody test, although they were when I booked our accommodations in May. Now you have to have a negative Covid test taken within 3 days before travel. The only vaccination card they are accepting is if you've been vaccinated on St. John. By the way, I think the negative Covid test doesn't really make much sense because you could pick up the virus on the airplane. To me it makes more sense to not let folks on the island unless they've been vaccinated which means checking for vaccination cards-but because in the USA we are giving paper cards I guess it makes sense to them because they can be easily faked. If only the USA had a data bank of those folks who had been vaccinated-that would make much more sense!

I put my information in the NJ app (Docket) and it came up with the dates of my vaccinations and the lot numbers.

Oh yeah, now that you mention this I remember reading that a few states do have this, but not all. I think I remember reading that my state Maryland was one of these states. How do I do this? Just get the MD app Docket? I think it's worth getting for sure, but again for this trip St. John won't accept this. The US Virgin Islands have an illogical governor (in my opinion). Anyway, thanks so much for reminding me about this.

Better yet, some pharmacist selling real ones.....I hope punishment is more then a slap on the wrist. More like prison and lose he license!! US authorities arrested a Chicago pharmacist Tuesday for selling dozens of official cards showing proof of Covid-19 vaccination on eBay, the Justice Department said. *** Zhao was indicted on 12 counts of theft of government property and faces up to 10 years in prison on each count."We take seriously, and will vigorously investigate, any criminal offense that contributes to the distrust around vaccines and vaccination status," Assistant Attorney General Kenneth Polite said in a statement. www.rawstory.com/us-pharmacist-arrested-for-selling-vaccine-cards-on-ebay-2654696767/
