I'll be selling my stash through a local craft store garage sale. I have many old 12x12 kits - some as far back as Label Tulip - that are completely intact. I also have a lot of the original SC PL kits. How would you price these?

What is your main goal: make money or declutter?

Do you want to sell them? If so you have to put a price someone cannot refuse. That would be in the $2 to $3 range for me. I buy when I see a deal I just cannot walk away from.

Honestly, I would probably price them cheap to get them gone. I have found very few, outside of my internet friends, know that vintage SC stuff is worth anything. And most wouldn't know what to do with PL stuff. So if someone wants it, I want it cheap enough for them to take it.

What is your main goal: make money or declutter? Mostly declutter - but the craft sale is an opportunity to see what sells and donate the rest.

i would price it at least 75% off of retail. those who know will know realize the discount and those who are just bargain hunting will have a max price in mind anyway.

I'd say think of target dollar spot pricing, $1, $3, $5 ish depending on what it is.

Yes to all these comments! I was just at my local scrappy flea market and some people had stuff priced at almost full retail. I only bought things that were under $5 and the owner of the store said most of the stuff that sold was under $5.

but the craft sale is an opportunity to see what sells Then it sounds like you can put a dollar on the stuff and hopefully put a dollar in your pocket. I used to bundle stuff too - if someone has a few items in their hands I'd say, if you buy 5 of those I can give you a good deal,(even though my stuff is already a good deal.) In other words, get what you can. If they pick it up, swoop in with a deal. Money is money especially if you are going to give it away.

Good advice, I think! Better to make $1 or 2 twenty times than try to make more money and only sell a couple of items. Good luck!

I only bought things that were under $5 and the owner of the store said most of the stuff that sold was under $5. I second this. I don't think I have bought anything much over $6 at a destash sale, maybe a leather WRMK album or a whole unopened project life core kit but not much else. I have a great store near me that do a couple of sales a year and generally the more expensive stuff seems to hang around a bit more, I have no issues at all grabbing a stamp set that I like but not love for $3 but I will deeply consider if I need it in my life if it is $10

Price it like it is the dollar menu or the dollar store! People cannot resist that kind of stuff! As joblackford said, better to sell 20 1.00 items! Good luck!

I would price it super cheap! Especially if you plan on donating what doesn't sell.
