What is the wall color in the room/closet/studio/atelier/area/shed where you currently scrap/stamp/papercraft &/or store your supplies?
If you were to re-paint the walls today, would you chose the same color? If not, what color would you choose? Why?

I moved into one of my girls' rooms when they all moved out. Her room was green, and I thought about changing it but didn't. I love it now because it just works for my space. Here is one small corner of my room (the art corner). I wouldn't have chosen this but it works now that I am in there. The green is perfect. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg) ![](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51414833141_21a2288d5f_4k.jpg)

My space is in one end of the LR, so it's Sherwin Williams Mindful Gray. I'd love to do an accent wall when I have my own space. I am thinking about navy.

My room is almost identical to the distress oxide salvaged patina color. It’s the only room in the house I wouldn’t change.

Patter - that is a lovely green My room is a neutral cream - we didn't repaint anything when we moved in this year so everything except 2 bedrooms are neutral cream. Because my space is off the foyer and has an arched opening not a door - I'm not planning on adding a colour.

Who knows? ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/roflmao.gif) . I have shelving covering most of it except for the window. BTW, PaperAngel, I am loving all your questions--and everyone's answers.

My old scraproom was dark, think Tim Holtz vintage style decor. I recently made a new scraproom, where I did white, on white, on white with light gray flooring. It's not a bright white, more of a soft white. I love it! It makes me happy. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I have pops of bright colors that I can change out if I get tired of it. Do what makes YOU happy! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

I’m in what used to be the dining room and it’s a buttercup yellow. Our home is somewhat open concept, so changing it would be difficult given the layout of the house. I would prefer the walls to be the other paint color we use in the house, a robins egg/Tiffany blue.
If I was in a room with a door I would probably want a shade of light bluish purple.

Sea glass green with glitter accent wall and pale yellow on the other walls. And yes I would paint it those colors again.

Walls are a soft grey-green SW “Quietude” and the trim is SW “Spinach White” - it has a slight green undertone what goes beautifully with the walls. Absolutely love it and would use it again.

It’s a pale gray. I would prefer a slightly darker shade as it’s so pale it really looks white. I have white furniture with teal accents.

Mine is the "renters mushroom brown" that was there when I moved in. I didnt have time to repaint the bedrooms. If I could, I would continue on with Benjamin Moore Sidewalk (light grey) that is in the rest of the condo. Its just so blah right now with the current colour.

Off white. It's a cluttered undecorated space, so I'm glad for the neutral walls.

My original one was lilac with white trim, then I moved into dd1’s old room that was dark pink ceiling and walls. Once dd2 moved out, I decided I’d prefer her larger room. Hers was painted lilac walls with lt blue ceiling with clouds and glow in the dark stars. lol Yes, my 22yo still had clouds and stars on her ceiling. Anyway, I wanted a bright room, so I had it painted white with white trim, left the ceiling as it was and decorated with teal and gray with white furniture. I love it! The clouds and stars make me smile and think of her.

The living spaces of our house are a cream color, a warm off-white, but the part of the room I consider my space is mostly frosted windows and honey colored wood door frame. I like having a light neutral wall color. I already get a strong color cast from the windows and the neighbor's house just outside them - it's about 10 feet away and being painted dark blue, so I struggle with getting good light for color matching and photos. Or any light for a good portion of the year.
I generally prefer cooler tones but the cream color goes well with the woodwork in our house, which is an important architectural feature and it's a pretty big deal that almost all of it is intact (it's a 100 yo faux finish meant to make dark cheap Doug.fir look like quarter sawn oak, probably impossible to replicate).

Mine was painted 20 months ago, and it is a light purple. My favorite color! DH said really? Purple, YES of course and would I paint this color again? Certainly as it is a peaceful color for me!

Mine is a super pale beige-y creamy colour. It wouldn't typically be my first pick, but my scrap room doesn't get any direct sunlight and this stops the room from feeling too cold. Sea glass green with glitter accent wall I am totally intrigued by what this looks like!

Mine now are sage green. Painting them would be a pain because I have so many pegboards and shelving attached to the wall. I'd like pick a similar color again though.

My craft room/guest room is painted with Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams. It's a chameleon color which is a soft green/blue or green/grey depending on the light or time of day.
It's a great neutral for the smattering of colorful, somewhat random decor items. i.e. a large portrait of a hedgehog with a stack of frosted donuts!

Many MANY years ago, DSO painted one wall in my scrap room / study to match a piece of SEI striped paper that I loved. A few weeks ago I mentioned to him that I was going to paint over it, just a nice plain white wall. He said "It took me ages to paint that wall!" Ugh. So now I almost feel guilted into keeping it, even though I really don't like it anymore.
I will have to try and find a photo of it and post it here, or take a new one.

White. I didn’t want wall colors to reflect on the workspace or my computer screen when editing.

White - I didn't change the color when we moved into this house 9 years ago. It works for me since there is lots of color in the room. My furniture, for the most part, is the brown/black Ikea furniture & Kallax units. I found fabric that had retro cameras on it that is turquoise, orange, green & brown and I made curtains for my 2 windows from it and use those colors as my accent colors around my room. I also have an old computer armoire painted the same green that houses most of my pattern paper. This is the fabric www.kawaiifabric.com/p6138-retro-camera-fabric-colorful-jewel-by-Michael-Miller.html

Three walls are a pale green. The forth wall is split and one triangle is bright yellow, the other turquoise. My file cabinet and book case are a pinky magenta. My husband says it looks like a rum shack. Like that's a bad thing.
