This woman lives in Illinois and was travelling to Hawaii, and this was the vaccination card she presented - I wonder if she was surprised to be caught?? It's like one of those "how many mistakes can you spot" games! How many can you find?

Really, it’s probably the Scribble that caught their eye. And then the “Maderna” misspelling. Anthough my kids keep telling me that no one cares about misspellings anymore.

And the fact that the handwriting is the same for both shots. What are the odds?

And the fact that the handwriting is the same for both shots. What are the odds? I get what you are saying but my shots were actually administered by the same person. I was able to get in to a clinic that had leftovers. 2 members of our church were involved as nurses at the clinics. The director of the school of nursing gave me both shots. Now I realize in most areas that is not going to be the case. My thinking on these fake cards are how closely are they really going to be looked at? Will someone catch any misspellings? Any nonsense added to the cards? I wish there was a way for it to all be digital and not a way to be faked.

So I’m not counting on digital being reliable either.

Well I have a real Covid vaccination card, and the lady who administered my second shot wrote down the wrong date when I got it. My first shot was on 4/21/21 and the second one was on 5/6/21 but she wrote down 4/6/21. It looks hinky as hell, and of course I didn’t notice it until I was back at home. It does say on the reverse side to “Come back for your second dose on 5/6/21.” So I’m hoping if there is ever a question anyone looking at it will see what happened there. But seriously, WTF?

However for most people I think that's unlikely Isn't anyone wondering why she lives in Illinois but travelled to Delaware for the vaccination?? Anthough my kids keep telling me that no one cares about misspellings anymore. But considering there's only 4 (?5) vaccines being used in the USA, you would expect the person administering them would get that spelling right.

And the fact that the handwriting is the same for both shots. What are the odds? Actually mine are the same. The man processing people for shots at my local CVS was there for my first and 2nd. I went at the same time of day each time.

And the fact that the handwriting is the same for both shots. What are the odds? Mine has the same handwriting. Actually some of it is mine, our health clinic made us fill in part of the card... Both times I was at the clinic the only nurse was this guy named Dave... the time slots were assigned and exactly four weeks apart at the same day, time, and location. By the time I was done with my shots and taking my kids for their shots, I had his entire spiel memorized since I'd heard it so many times.

I think that you are putting a lot of faith in the American education system. But yes, I would expect that the person administering the shot would know how to spell it. But then, I still care about spelling! For the record, I did not receive my shots from the same person. It was a mass vaccination clinic here on base and we had 6 stations administering shots in the base movie theatre. Then admins to register our official data.

This reminds me of the family I read about who had fake vaccination cards in order to travel. Not only did the parents have them, but their two kids, both under the age of 12, had them as well 😳🤦🏼♀️
The stupidity boggles my mind.

Not only did the parents have them, but their two kids, both under the age of 12, had them as well 😳🤦🏼♀️ The stupidity boggles my mind. Yup. We currently have one state (NSW) that has very high covid numbers and it shares a border with another state (QLD) that currently has zero covid cases. The Govt of the zero state has closed the border, you need a permit to get in, and they are very strict, plus the people checking the permits are police officers. So a guy drives up to the check point, in a small truck, when he's stopped, he doesn't have a permit, plus he can't explain exactly why he needs to cross the border or what he plans to do there, and he gets turned around. Then he tries to cross the border again at the same point a few hours later - this time the police are suspicious and check his truck - it's full of drugs. LINK

Same handwriting, but same pen? Maybe. But considering there's only 4 (?5) vaccines being used in the USA, you would expect the person administering them would get that spelling right. We have three, Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J - which only emphasizes your point.

I mean, people who are so opposed to vaccination that they’re willing to forge a card are probably not the brightest anyway. Hopefully a lot of them will tell on themselves this way.

And the fact that the handwriting is the same for both shots. What are the odds? I gave both doses to quite a few people so that isn’t so far fetched.

Isn't anyone wondering why she lives in Illinois but travelled to Delaware for the vaccination?? that's what that is supposed to mean? lol. I don't even remember exactly what mine said; I think it had something like 'SE POD 2' for the location because it was the Southeast Phx valley vaxx clinic, or something like that. But yeah- you should at least learn how to spell Moderna correctly, if you're administering a vaccine, lol. ETA: I just looked at my card- it has a place where I had to write in my name and birthdate, then under the product info it just lists Pfizer & the Lot number. The field for the 'clinic site' is where it says SE-POD. I would think that's not very clear about the location, lol. Heck, I didn't even know what it meant until I looked at my appointment information. It doesn't say anything about the state, city, or anything else that would *really* identify the location where I was vaxxed.

Except the clinic site is listed as CVS 1234 (ok, not the real number on my card ). I'm kind of fascinated that there is 52 days between shots and the same lot number. And the NRA was running vaccination sites with military personal?

I got my vaccine at a pod location as those were the only places that were doing mass vaccination. I got mine on March 9. I’m looking at my card and it only says J&J. They didn’t even put a lot number under the brand. And my location just says ACC. Good thing I have my state backup to prove it plus the app I used for my county as backup.

My shots were also given by the same person, because I was required to visit the same pharmacy on the same day of the week and at the same time for my 2nd shot; that's how they scheduled it. It must have been the pharmacy technician's shift. My dad - same thing!

The same pharmacist gave me my shots, and the two people who got their shots when I did were there for the second shot. The grocery store chain was only scheduling three people per appointment slot/per hour. So we heard the spiel at the same time and were scheduled for the next one at the same time.
During shot #1 I asked the other two people to distract me since I was anxious, and one of them very enthusiastically and loudly told me about the old radio show “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” (also a book which I had). He said I had to find it on line so I did in case I was questioned about it during shot #2. His coming up with something in a split second and speaking loudly was, in fact, nicely distracting.
Everyone else I knew, including my DH, either went to a government center, a large medical complex/hospital, a university or a sports stadium, so it would have been highly unusual to get the same person. I just went to a blocked off corner of a grocery store. Very quiet, Then they handed out $20 gift certificates as a thank you for being vaccinated.

Her card confuses me. It looks like mine. But mine says Pfizer where her's says "maderna" Where her card says "Delaware" mine has a tiny pre-printed label with the lot number- the lot numbers were not hand written, then dates where her's has dates and the final line on mine does not have a name of who did the shot but does say CCHD for Cxxxxxx County Health Department. My first one was a guy who didn't really want to answer my questions about his day job. I did find out he was a volunteer from DC. His agency asked for volunteers to come to Oklahoma to help administer vaccines and he volunteered to come; I couldn't get him to tell me what agency. Found out a few days later the department of agriculture sent out a bunch of volunteer veterinarians. I am 99% sure I got my first vax from a veterinarian! He was super quick.
The second one was done by a really young combat medic in the National Guard. He was not near as quick as the first guy.

That's a good & creative use of professionals who understand science and can be quickly trained to give a vaccine. Literally in the last half hour they announced here (Melb/Australia) that they are going to get dentists, physiotherapists, paramedics, various healthcare students (nurses, paramedics etc), and some others that I don't recall to be trained up to give covid vaccinations to free up nurses to go back to the hospital system. So sensible and should have been done already. I'd be happy to get my covid vaccine when I take my cat to the vet
