Yep, voted No. Hopefully enough democrats get off their assets and vote no too. Otherwise, we’ll be the new Florida.

Maybe Texas will be a blessing in disguise for Newsom. I hope people get out and vote!

Yes. Voted no. This is such a waste of tax payer money and time I’m so irritated this even had a chance to come to a vote.

Thankfully Newsom has a strong lead in polls. Voted NO and am dropping it off tomorrow. Don’t bank in the lead. Democrats tend to vote early so I fully expect this to have a razor thin margin in the end.

But who are you voting for? Our ballots are sitting here and haven’t voted yet as I have no clue who to vote for just in case he is recalled?

I voted for one of the random democrats who actually bothered to submit a picture and bio. I just couldn’t leave it blank and from what I’ve read, writing in Newsom would just get tossed.

Happy to report I just got back from visiting my parents and older brother, saw their ballots sitting on their mail table and told them to fill them out and mail them off! They all voted no and I dropped them in the mailbox for them on my way home.

Thankfully Newsom has a strong lead in polls. Voted NO and am dropping it off tomorrow. I voted NO and dropped our ballots off yesterday. There is BS happening around the recall. Here in my neighborhood more than one person has reported on the Nextdoor.com platform that they received ballots for multiple people. One friend got hers plus the two that were for a couple a few doors down. She hand delivered them. Someone I don't know shared a photo of SEVENTEEN ballots left in her mailbox! Her high school aged daughters hand delivered them!

PLEASE talk to your friends and neighbors about the importance of voting!

But who are you voting for? Our ballots are sitting here and haven’t voted yet as I have no clue who to vote for just in case he is recalled? I had the same concern but DH and I voted a couple of days ago. All of the activists in my area are telling us to JUST VOTE NO. The Dem. party purposely did not select / endorse anyone to "vote for just in case" in the hopes of not repeating what happened in the Grey Davis recall which ended up with Arnie as our gov. (Today, I'd take Arnie in a heartbeat over probably anyone running now.) So the advice is to VOTE NO, and try to get as many like-minded people to vote as well.

I'm going to write to her and her f now to gently remind them.

But if you vote no but the majority of people vote yes then you aren’t voting for anyone? I guess the argument could go both ways though. Thinking if you don’t vote then it just helps Elder.

I’m not sure why you would leave it blank. If you leave it blank, and the governor *is* recalled, then you have no say in who is elected.

I’m not sure why you would leave it blank. If you leave it blank, and the governor *is* recalled, then you have no say in who is elected. I feel like I won't have a say anyways. Elder is pretty much the next governor if Newsom is recalled. I am not voting for Elder, Faulconer or Cox. And I don't see anyone else on the ballot that I would want to vote for. The leading Democrat, Paffrath, has some outlandish goals. His Day 1 Executive actions include ending homelessness in 60 days with the National Guard being deployed, build 2 million homes in 4 years to solve the housing problem, do away with Covid related mandates (but he still wants vaccines and better masks), and build new toll roads and tunnels under existing freeways to help with traffic flow. Yes, I looked into Paffrath because he was a democrat on the ballot. Who knows, maybe Paffrath can win, but I am not voting for him just because he is a Democrat.

PLEASE talk to your friends and neighbors about the importance of voting! Republicans are going to show up en masse at the polls on election day. They want the impression to be that Newsome is a slam dunk to stay in office. Danger! Danger! Please get everyone you know out to vote.
