My family doesn't enjoy the one I'm using right now (Marc Jacobs Rain) so I'm asking them for a new fragrance for Christmas.
What do you wear?

currently, I'm into jo Malone pomegranate noir and I want to try jo Malone sea salt and something or other.
I ordered a bunch of samples off of ebay a couple of months ago and loved being able to find what I like. there was a thread like yours on refupeas back then and I looked up the ones that sounded interesting to me.
what kind of fragrance do you like? I'm a spicy girl, and I also like unisex fragrances. narcisso rodriguez for her and viktor&rolf flower bomb are two of my spicy favorites.

Philosophy Pure Grace and most recently Fresh Cream, yum.
I HATE strong, overpowering scents and these are very light and I get LOTS of compliments on them.

Donna Karan Black Cashmere is my favorite, especially in cooler weather. I like spice and wood based fragrances. Not much into flowers or candy sweet scents. In hot weather I like citrus and clean fragrances. I wear a lot of unisex too.

I need to stock up on my favs whilst they are all on sale this time of year. I'm almost out of 2 of them. I'm a "what do I feel like today" girl rather than wear one signature scent. I adore Clinique's Happy In Bloom Get lots of compliments with Estee Lauder's Pleasures Exotic Love the smell of True Religion on my sheets, but it doesn't smell good ON me. Want to try Marc Jacobs Daisy, the 2 new Katy Perry scents(smells fab on my sister)

I have to be very careful with perfumes as most, if not 99% are much too strong and will cause migraines. My favorite and the one I've been wearing for years is 4711. It's the same one my Oma (my German grandmother) wore, and in fact it is so old it was first made in 1799 in Cologne, Germany. Last time I was in Germany I bought home about 5 bottles of it, not realizing that you can buy it here these days. It's actually considered a unisex scent and is made of sandlewood oils and citrus scents. I love it because it is "light" and doesn't give me a migraine. It doesn't smell fake or like chemicals.
It's the same way with most scents these days for me. I can use aromatherapy oils just fine (natural scents) and not get a touch of a migraine, but anything that is manufactured for fake like candles, Glade or even some highly scented laundry detergent can trigger a migraine.

Dior Hypnotic Poison My grandson picked it out for me when he was 7 on a trip to Boston with me. I've worn it ever since and he'll be 13 in January. I still love it.

I am wearing Versace Bright Crystal right now. It is light and fruity. I have trouble with scents, and since I can't find Gucci III anymore, I have been trying out some of the rollerballs at Sephora. I really like this one.

Diorissimo is my all time favorite, but it's outta my price range and very hard to find, so I haven't worn it in years.
I have a couple that I like, but right now my favorite is Thymes Fig Leaf & Cassis.

It has no scent residue left but I will never toss it.

I don't like perfume, it is much too strong for me. But I love men's cologne! So do my daughters. We joke that we want to get Polo or Drakar for ourselves. We just can't find any perfume that isn't too overpowering (my older girls are 15 and 17 and they want something too). Fun to see what the peas like, will have to take a list next time I go to the mall.
