About half an hour ago we had a 3.6 tremblor. It occurred about 3 miles from my house in a park area with hiking and biking. I don't know if there is any damage to my town, certainly none at my house, but I can hear emergency vehicles.
For how long I have lived in SoCal, I have seldom felt any earthquakes here.

Glad to hear that you are okay. I'm in SoCal but didn't feel it.

We had one a few weeks ago that I felt. I didn't know that's what it was until I got a breaking news about it though. We don't have them here usually.

yep, me too, I'm upstairs in my office working and the whole house shook. DH was taking DD to school and when he got back he had no idea we'd just had an earthquake. Plus, I stream KFI while I work and they didn't mention it either.
All my life I've surfed out earthquakes without so much as a bat of an eye. My first was the Sylmar in 71 and every one since.
Lately though, these small little temblors rattle me inside. IDK if its my age or what. Nerve wracking for a few minutes cause I always wonder "is this it?".
Glad its over and hope we don't have any more after shocks.

Any earthquake 3 miles from your house is going to feel big. Hope you aren't hit with a cluster.
