I realized today I have only ever seen cinnamon brooms at the grocery store. I have never seen one in the home of a family member or friend. Do you or someone you know have a cinnamon broom?

My husband thought it'd be a good idea for the bathroom he mostly uses. It was a tiny one from TJ's and it smelled okay for maybe a week? I told him to just skip it next time.

I do them in the fall and winter. I usually buy the mini ones and hang them on a few door knobs through the house.

This made me remember that I had received one as a gift. What does one normally do with them? Is it a decoration? An air freshener? Educate me please, lol!

I saw them today at Trader Joe's as I walked in. I know it is Fall when I see them. I have gotten the mini and put it on the back of my front door. To just smell good when you walk in.

I like to smell them when I walk past them in the Kroger, but have never had the urge to bring one home.

I never knew those brooms were called cinnamon brooms. And I’ve never noticed one in someone’s home.

I’ve only seen them in stores. They stink they’re; too strong. Can’t stand them and would never buy them.

They literally make me sick. If I am around them for more than 5 minutes my throat closes up and I have a sore throat for the next 3 days. My family refers to it as a "granny attack". My grandma was quite the hypochondriac. But this is 100% real. Several strongly and artificially scented things do that to me.

I do not. When my youngest was a preschooler they were obsessed with the cinnamon pine cones and so we bought a tiny little bag of them--there were maybe 5 or 6 in it.
Oh my gosh---the smell those gave off once you got them out of a large store and into a small house was crazy strong! We couldn't hack it. We had them in the entry, and we had to to put them outside. The entire house smelled so strongly of cinnamon it was enough to make your throat and eyes burn.

We just bought one at Michaels this past week! The smell has finally calmed down so you can only smell it when you walk by it, not throughout the whole house.

I had never seen or heard of them until I walked into TJ's yesterday. That is a hard NO for me. I don't like anything with a scent that strong.

I got a large one for a Halloween costume. That thing stunk like crazy for months. I now really don't like the smell of cinnamon.

I only buy the Trader Joe’s ones because they’re pure cinnamon oil, not artificial, which gives me a headache. I put it in my house but out of sight. I like the smell but not the appearance.

I never knew those brooms were called cinnamon brooms. And I’ve never noticed one in someone’s home. Same here. I know what they are, but there isn't a stick that makes them look like a broom. They look like wood tassels to me. I don't have a name for them, just a scented decoration.

They literally make me sick. If I am around them for more than 5 minutes my throat closes up and I have a sore throat for the next 3 days. I have issues with cinnamon scented pine cones. Okay on their own, but the store displays at Christmas bother me. Not throat closing, but definitely hurts.

Those kinds of things always smell good in the store, then have no smell after like an hour displayed at home. Thus, I do not have cinnamon brooms in my home.

I had to google it to see what you were talking about. I’ve never heard of it or seen one before.

They smell very strong in the store, so I know they would be far too strong at home. I love the smell though

I looked them up because I hadn’t heard of them before .
They look nice and rustic ( I can’t handle strong smells though )
