On August 24th. I didn't realise. I subscribed to her YouTube channel and absolutely loved her motivational speeches, and gentle, clean, genuine humour. Her last pop-up was only 3 weeks earlier and she was as full of energy as ever. She'll be very much missed. www.youtube.com/user/JeanneRobertsonwww.jeannerobertson.com/

That makes me so sad. DH and I had made plans to see her show then COVID happened.

I hadn't heard that -- she was one very funny lady. I'm not sure I've ever laughed as hard as I did at her bit on sending her husband to the grocery store.

Yes sadly. She was one of my favorite comedians.

I’m sad to hear that. My 85 year old mom absolutely loved her comedy (as did I) and I often thought how fun it would be to surprise my mom by taking her to see her live. Emelle

There was a post recently about which celebrity death hit your the hardest and I couldn’t think of a single one at the time. This would be the one. I loved how she always found the humor in just about anything. I am so disappointed I never got to see her in person. I had tickets to see her last year but COVID hit and the show was cancelled.
RIP Jeanne, you will be missed.

I had the pleasure of seeing her live a few years ago. What a treat.
She was on her "Rocking Chair" tour - performed while seated in a rocker due to an injury or surgery of some kind. Audience members could enter a drawing to win the chair at each of her stops. She bought a new chair at Cracker Barrel in each town!

Sad to hear this as I always enjoyed her humor. The New York Times had a very nice obituary. It indicated her husband (aka "Left Brain") had passed away in June. Such a sad time for their family.

She was a keynote speaker at a conference I attended - such a funny, nice lady.

This makes me sad. I would occasionally search out her videos because she was just so flipping funny....without having to use so many curse words!

So sad.
I loved her routine about sending her hubby to the grocery store with a list. This reminds me so much of my dh. I send him with a picture list.

I feel the need to make a 7-Up pound cake. She was a great storyteller.

That is so sad to hear. I would just go binge her videos when I needed a laugh. The grocery store one us the best.
