I had to submit it for travel to Newfoundland, to my volunteer position, and show it at a restaurant yesterday.

In my province of Ontario in Canada, we now have to show proof for dine in restaurants (not take out though), gyms and stuff like that. We are suppose to get QR codes October 22nd. For now when I visited my sister and her family, we showed our downloaded two vax receipts and photo id. My sister's youngest daughter is 10 and was with us. So she is allowed to show her Health Card (won't have a picture until she is 16). And that's all they did. Is compare the names and check that you were double vaxxed and when. And yet we have people protesting that it's "private" medical information. They aren't writing the information down. Some places are defying orders and saying they won't cause division and will take anyone. They risk a high fine and I won't go to their places. I have a local restaurant that posted they will still have some patio seating (part of their parking lot area) and unvaxxed are welcomed to sit there. But you must have proof to dine in. Oddly we have a bunch of protest happening at various Tim Hortons. Popular coffee and donut shop I used to work for. They are a big franchise so have to follow the lead of the government. You can still use their drive thru. You can still walk in to order and walk out with your order. I'm glad I am now working at a grocery store because we just have to keep an eye out for people not wearing masks and at each cash register we have the throw away masks we can give them. There's also masks at the door available. One of my co workers got spat at by a customer over the masks. Good thing we have plexiglass up at the cash registers.

I’ve had to show proof of vaccination to enter PEI, to dine inside when in Quebec and here in Ontario, to go to the community centre for watercolour classes and for Pilates, to go to the movie theatre and to the theatre for a play. Basically, for everything but retail.
It only takes a minute and I like knowing that I only have vaccinated people around me. #worthit lol.

I haven’t yet, but I don’t really go anywhere other than basic shopping. A friend of DH’s posted online that she needed to sell some concert tickets for a show that night, likely because she and her DH would have had to show proof of vaccination or a current negative test. Neither one of them is vaccinated even though delta has ripped through a good percentage of their extended family. Too bad, so sad!

Honestly, if they pass this mandate for indoor vaccinations I'm outta here. I'm not anti-vax, don't get me wrong but I f*cking HATE trying to deal with people who refuse to wear a damn mask. Based on their behavior over a damn mask, I'm not going to start fighting about showing cards. That's not in my job description and I don't get paid enough to enforce that. Such bullshit. The people who aren't getting vaccinated WON'T. PERIOD. Give it up.

I just had to submit a copy to my employer. Previously we were allowed to just self-identify as vaccinated in order not to mask at work but now we’re all required to mask again regardless of status. I work for a federal government contractor so all employees must be vaccinated by the end of November (I think.) I also had to provide a copy to an organization for which I’m a volunteer, and next week will have to show my card at a theater.

Yep! I went to 2 concerts this past week. Both had a vaccine or negative test requirement by the band. The first venue did a horrible job. They did not check ID to validate that the vaccine card or test was really the persons. Thankfully that was an outside venue. Last night’s concert was indoors and security was very diligent in checking IDs. Surprisingly there was little security making sure masks were kept on inside (required for everyone regardless of vaccine status); however, almost everyone kept masks on and even put them back up in between drinking their beer. This was in Los Angeles. I was pleasantly surprised.

I’m running the Boston Marathon next week and have to show proof of vaccination to get my bracelet, which I have to wear all weekend in order to pick up my race bib, board the buses to the start, and get my medal at the finish. If not vaccinated, they have a separate tent where they are testing participants. The field of runners is much smaller this year so that should help move things along. I have not had to show my card anywhere otherwise, except at my PCP who wanted to note it in my chart.

I have not, but I'm still not really going very many places. I've visited family, which is what was most important to me when we were in lockdown. I go to outdoor places where I don't have to be near a bunch of people---parks, walking trails, even soccer games---I just stand off with DH on our own. But I'm still doing very little in person shopping. DH is still doing the weekly grocery shopping (his choice), and I am still doing most of the other shopping we need with either curbside pick-up or delivery, etc. It just seems easier right now. So, since we're not attending any major events or going to any actual venues, there hasn't been any need to prove that we're vaccinated. I do, however, have my card in my purse just in case, LOL!

I went to see the Monkees (Micky and Mike) this past weekend (Oct 2nd) in Chattanooga, TN and had to show proof of vaccination. No one would be admitted without proof and we also had to wear masks the entire time. Totally worth it..the show was fantastic!

I’ve been dragging my feet on getting the shot. (I know I know). My adult son’s favorite band was coming to a town couple of hours away last week. You needed to show proof of being vaccinated to get in so we went and got the shot a week before the show. They wouldn’t let us in because you had to be vaccinated 14 days prior. We were 10 days prior. 😕. Oh well. we went to see the new Venom movie and still had a great time. It was $150 down the drain but at least it made me get vaccinated so that’s a good thing.

I was in a photography course this past weekend. We had to show it at the beginning of the course, even though we drove in our own vehicles to abandoned buildings and were outside. We also had to show them w id at the restaurants.

I live in Florida, old people capital of the world. Vaccine cards are for sissies, or so says our governor, maybe not in those words, though.
