Can anyone recommend a product that will tighten the skin under my eyes a bit that won't break the bank? I tend to wake up in the morning with puffiness around my eyes. Then as the day goes on, the puffiness goes away and I'm left with a bit of chicken skin under my eyes. I also because of my medicine have dry eyes, which I'm trying hard to treat so I don't end up rubbing my eyes all day. And again, I know full well that I'm never going to get rid of my smile lines and that's not the goal. It's simply to tighten up the skin a bit to account for some of the deflation from my puffiness.

I am waiting for my Peter Thomas Roth Instan FIRMx eye temporary eye tightener. I saw a TikTok where a woman used it real time and holy smokes. The bags and puffiness under my eyes aren't nearly as bad as hers so I'm hoping I see some positive change. If you go to the PTR instagram, the woman's TikTok is there. She's got her hair in a turban b/c she just got out of the shower.

If I can, I'll go over there tonight and buy some to try. And, just as an aside, I couldn't believe that woman in the tiktok was only 54 years old. What damage she has to her eye area. She looked ten years older than that. That product worked amazing on her. I couldn't believe the difference.

I was surprised at her age too but in the video she mentions she got the bags due to her weight loss surgery. I bought mine from Ulta but on-line. I guess you could call to see if they have it in stock. You'll have to let me know what you think. Yeah the improvement she had is amazing. She sold more of that product for them than anyone.

Oh my word, I can't believe you posted this. I just got back from walking the dogs. Before I left, I set my eye cream jar next to my eye pad because I was going to come back and thank the Peas for introducing me to Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff. I slather it on thick. It's green and does soak in. I usually do it before I go to bed, and my eyes look so much better in the morning. On nights I forget, I slather it on in the morning (like today), and it helps. I have used many, many eye creams and spent a lot of money. This by far is the best ever IMO and just feels so good. I just wish I could remember the Pea that introduced me to it. Thank you, thank you!

Generic preparation H cream. Under two bucks. Amazing stuff. I don’t know if it’s the same chemical, but it works.

I don't know for sure but I know I've seen people suggest Preparation H! Which makes sense when you think about what it does. Just be careful near your eyes.

Let me say I use this also! Yes, it does take time but it works. On the bags and the discoloration. I used it regularly and truly saw a difference. I have fallen off my skincare regimen due to forgetting and just being tired. I can tell a difference. I started up with it again last night. I do it am and pm. BUT I have seen the TikTok video and the difference it made on the woman was crazy. I am so happy she did it real time so no one could accuse her of some whacky editing. But for now, I'll stick with my The Ordinary.

I got Dr Brandt Needles No More in a beauty box awhile ago. My puffiness is on my left eyelid, not under the eyes. It does seem to work but it made my eyelid throb and I later learned that you shouldn't put it on the lid. I just tried it on my browbone to see if that would be better. Will report back. It doesn't seem to leave the powdery film that reviewers of the PTR one complained about.
Another good ingredient is hyaluronic acid. That will help plump up the skin.

Immediate impulse purchase of the Kiehls cream - thank you for the recommendation! You are welcome, and remember, it originally came from another Pea. Gosh I wish I could give her credit. Anyway, I sure hope y'all like it as much as I do! Oh, and another tip. If I put it on in the morning and it hasn't all soaked in, I dab in what I can, and then I put it around the outside of my lips. Starting to get some wrinkles there. I figure it can't hurt.

Sorry for all the questions! I am so bad about skin care. So you just wash it off when you wash your face in the morning? I never wash it off, ever. I let it soak in or rub in somewhere else on my face if it hasn't soaked in yet. And I don't always use as much as the photo shows. Sometimes I just dab before putting on my makeup, and if I am staying home or forget the night before, I slather.

Now if the Pea that originally recommended it to me could only pop in here and identify themselves. I did a bit of pea detective work and searched the product name on the forum. There was a thread from 2014 that had a link, but the poster was listed as "Deleted." Perhaps she made a fortune promoting skin products and went into hiding. . .

I miss the search function on the old board because I used it all the time. Good detective work to find the old thread!

I don’t have puffiness just really dark color. Does the Kiehl’s help that too? Coincidentally I had my monthly facial and my regular aesthetician has moved on. I asked the new girl about the dark circles and she said to massage the eye area with oil. But recommended no products. Not even theirs. 👎🏻 Patter what’s the oil you’ve recommended before for the top of your hand?

And I am sorry I can't help with the dark color issue. Mine is mostly puffy.
