I am looking for a tasty plant-based home delivery meal company for a friend whose husband is going to be starting cancer treatments. They going plant based as a way not to feed the cancer. I am looking to give them a gift card for a company to make meal prep easier for them.
I am specifically looking for feed back on:
Sun Basket Daily Harvest Martha and Marley Spoon
If there is a company that you have used that is not listed, let me know.
Thank you!

My friend uses Thistle and love them, but I think they have a pretty limited service area.

I love Marleyspoon- though I usually do the meat options. But the produce is extremely fresh and high quality - and the recipes are excellent.

My sister is getting Daily Harvest, for the same reason. She gets boxes often and really likes almost everything she's tried. When she goes on vacation, she has a box shipped to wherever they go so she isn't as tempted to "cheat."
Good luck to your friend's DH. My sister went hard-core into research after her breast cancer came back and spread to her lymph nodes because her oncologist prescribed the wrong treatment plan (confirmed by two new doctors). She basically lost trust in her doctors and took matters into her own hands. Of course she is following what the doctors prescribe, but she is also doing many things at home. She went from a grim prognosis to three clean scans. 0 cancer cells detected. Her current oncologist (whom she loves) said it's basically a miracle and that she should keep doing what she's doing. We know it's probably a matter of time before it returns, but every additional day/week/month we get with her is a gift.

I have used veestro. The meals are prepared and frozen when you get them. Every one that I ordered was delicious. My husband is a vegetarian so I mostly ordered them for him. His only complaint was that he thought that the portions were too small.

I’ve tried Sprinly for a couple of weeks. They are WFPB and gluten free. You receive full meals that just need to be reheated. Think the servings are very large— most of them could be divided into two meals, at least for me. The meals range from basic WFPB, like a baked sweet potato with a delicious lemon sauce to lasagne. I really liked everything I ate, but sadly, it didn’t like me. I have trouble with GERD from many of the meals. But everything bothers me, so most people would be fine.

I get Sun Basket and order the vegan options. Sometimes I’ll add meat on the side to be cooked separately for the meat eaters in my house. (Like if the meal is a stir fry, I’ll order chicken to make with half of it.)
Lately the meals have been pretty good. They usually only have a couple vegan options and a couple more vegetarian options, so the selection could be limiting (although it makes selecting meals easier for me when I only have to pick from 2-4 options instead of 10, so I guess that could be a good thing too.)
I get mine on Mondays and today it was Kung Pao with plant based “chicken” and cashews over brown rice and Japanese curry udon with edamame.
Last week was Sweet and Sour stir fry with water chestnuts, snap peas, and rice and Malai potato kofta dumplings with curry sauce and toasted naan (which was amazing).
They have meal kits and then they also have some ready made meals that are just heat and eat.
Hopefully that helps.
