I’d been waiting for Apple to begin their longer holiday return period before purchasing a couple of watches as gifts. Ordered the 2 watches last night. One is not due to arrive until December 6, the second one (different watch case color) isn’t due to arrive until December 15. Hanukkah begins November 28. 🥺 Not sure if their other products are that far out from delivery, but if you’re considering an Apple gift, you may want to check.

A friend ordered a new Mac and it took 3+ weeks for it to arrive from Apple. It didn't come earlier than expected.

End of September I ordered 3 iPhones and they all came at least 2 weeks earlier than the date given. I hope that holds true for you too!

I got two phones (apple 13 pro max) today that I ordered two weeks ago. Because I wanted the sierra blue and was ordering the 256gb sizes, my wait was less than the more highly in demand 128gb silver and graphite colors which had (as of two weeks ago) had back order dates of over a month.
Mine did come slightly early, they had a shipping window of 5th-12th and shipped out on the 3rd, so I hope that happens for you.

Thanks for the heads up. Planning to upgrade DH's iPad Mini and see that estimated delivery is Dec 7-14.  As soon as he leaves the house again I will look at his old one to see what his cover is so I can get the same thing again. Then I can get the order placed. |

Hopefully it doesn't actually take that long. DD ordered a new iPhone 13 Pro on Tuesday afternoon. They said it would be available on 17th November, but it actually arrived yesterday. That was a nice surprise.

We went to Best Buy to buy my mom's new iphone. They had plenty at my store while Apple was not shipping for 3+ weeks.

When I buy directly from Apple, as opposed to Best Buy or a military exchange, the items are shipped from China. With the overseas shipping issues now, I am not surprised Apple products are taking that long.
When you purchase from a reseller like Best Buy, they generally already have received their shipments from overseas already and have them in the USA.

I Also want to add I ordered the mini direct from Apple and I have a ship date of December 15. So everyone can compare ship dates.

Over the past 10+ years we have ordered 85% of our Apple items directly from Apple. Usually AirPods are about the only thing we buy at Best Buy/Amazon, but I do remember buying an IPad there. Like you, I want to buy the watch/iPhone/iPad in the color and configuration I want and not settle for what they have in stock. |

We needed new phones so we went to the Apple store...they told us up front they had little to no stock in the stores. Told us to order online and expect to wait. Two weeks for our iphones to come (we both got 12's.)
Definitely order ahead if you need anything.

Okay, I broke down and ordered my new iPad and some accessory gifts for the kid. Apparently the accessories are in stock and ready to ship, but the new iPad won’t be here till mid-December. I’m thinking about getting a MacBook, too, so I just ordered a basic iPad, but I haven’t quite worked myself up to it yet.  Thanks for the heads up. |
