We picked up a new dishwasher today and DH is installing it. By the swearing going on the electrical connection is giving him issues. Something about the ground wire and only millimetres to get your fingers in under there to attach things. Man oh man I'm just going to stay in my office and Pea..... ETA - she's in! And we all survived! LOL She's so pretty - a brand new Kitchen Aid dishwasher with the 3rd level rack. Only problem? She is stainless, and all the other appliances are white. Side joke - many years ago, my purse slipped off my shoulder while I was closing my van door. And my cell phone was in the front pocket and was smashed beyond repair. Everybody says I "did it on purpose" to get a new phone So now the joke is I slammed the dishwasher in the car door so I could get a new one. I've hated the old one since about a month after we got it lol. So NOW I need to find a way to smash the range & fridge & range hood in the car door so they can all be replaced with stainless steel ones LOL

This sounds like my house! My DH is really handy but I regularly hide when he’s doing stuff because for a normally calm & quiet man he sure does sound stressed with a lot of muttering & swearing thrown in!
Hope the install goes well 😊

Hope it all goes good!
I usually end up being asked to grab tools. Then I break out the instructions and start reading them out loud. LOL
DH really loves me to help him! LOLOLOL!!!

That sounds familiar to me, as well. We always start off confident that we can fix something/install something and it usually ends with swearing.

Ha! DH just ordered a new fan (#3) for our fridge and I’m dreading the install.

You are probably in the safest place. If he is anything like my DH, he's made at the situation and it is just best to stay out of the way. I've cursed quite a few gadgets myself.

Oh, I regularly stay out of the way when DH is handling things like this. Thankfully his brother lives with us and between the two of them they always manage to get it done, even if it takes some cursing and grumbling, lol.

Glad to hear it got installed with no casualties! Lol.
My DH had moved his table saw over to a different location in the garage yesterday. I went out there to let him know I was going in to town for a few things, and he was down on his knees trying to attach some bolts on the legs of the saw. I said "You don't look very comfortable down there." All he said was "My knees were not made for doing things like this!"
