Mine arrived yesterday but I'm going to need to buy it on the Kindle because I just don't want to read a big heavy physical book anymore. Still needed to own the physical copy though!

This will be the first time Iām reading on my tablet. While I will miss having a big beautiful book, I wonāt miss having to hold one. Iām into my reread of MOBY, and I hate having to juggle and struggle with the book
IM excited to get to enter Jamie and CLaireās world again , but i have to get through this reread first.

Hereās the Reading order. You asked about the showāyes, the last book covered was The Fiery Cross. But they are begging and borrowing from the books now. A major event of book 6 was moved to season 5 and season 6 will cover a major plot line in book 5. At first it seemed odd, but if you look at the outline of season 6 (you can tell because the book 5 characters are on IMDB as being in season 6 and weāve seen still photos of the characters), it makes sense. Thanks Michelle. I think the last book I read was the snow and ashes one. And as I recall a lot of people didn't like it. I think I'm going to try and reread that, and start up again.

I also got the audio version and started listening Friday. I listen on my drive to work and somehow the Boston traffic does not bother me when I have a good book to listen to!

Yes, Iām reading it! But with all the family stuff this time of year, Iāve only been able to read the first few pages!
My DD informed me yesterday that I was āslackingā on laundry this week with all the holiday festivities. I told her she hasnāt seen slacking yet!! My favorite author just released her first book in 7 years and I might not do any laundry OR housework for the next 2 weeks since I am going to be busy reading!

I preordered a copy from a local bookstore. I usually buy books on my Kobo but I wanted a physical copy of this book. I got a signed copy which gives me a little thrill. I am on chapter 11. I am trying to read it slowly because I have been waiting so long I don't want it to end too soon. Once I have read it I will purchase an audible copy to listen to. I am so happy to be back in the world of Jamie and Claire and their families.

I'm a slow tester because I only read when I go to bed. I can barely remember MOBY other than it wasn't my favorite.
So, I'm just going with the flow and not worrying about what I don't remember. I'm certainly not re-reading MOBY to get caught up again!
So far I like this one.

I'm also reading slowly to savor being back in their world.
I bought it for kindle so I don't have to rush against a library return deadline.

Iām reading it slow. Iām crazy busy right now trying to get packages in the mail. I thought about listening to the audio, but I decided to just take it slow. I waited 7 years for this book and who knows how long it will be until #10 comes out. I like it so far.

I'm certainly not re-reading MOBY to get caught up again! So far I like this one. I love the outlander series. I read the whole series through when a new book comes out. I really, really was so disappointed in Moby. I disliked it so much, I wrote myself a note in my āBooks to read ā list to go find a synopsis and not read it again when Bees comes out. I couldnāt find a really good synopsis, but things are coming back as I go along. I am also reading Bees slowly, just to savor it.

Iām over half finished with Bees. Between the MOBY reread and the new book, itās been Jamie and Claireās world for a month, with at least a week or two to go.
I feel like sheās been setting things up for some serious shake up events. Lots of foreshadowing.
Also lots of fun little incidents of Time Travel novelty scenarios. My favorite is Jamie being introduced to a Very Special series of books from my adolescence.
Being a person in her 60ās, I truly enjoy the way Jamie and Claire continue to be head over heals about each other. Their inner monologues discussing each other ring true, and also still full of emotion.
Iām excited but also dreading whatever comes in the second half of this book. I have my favorite characters and I worry for their safety!
