I have yet to find one that I like. I wear makeup everyday and a lot of them are either greasy or kind of pull up under my makeup. I’m going to Ulta with my 20% off coupon today and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

For reasonably priced, I like La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer that is SPF 30. For higher end, I like the Clinique Smart Broad Spectrum. It only comes in SPF 15 but they make different formulations for different skin types

EltaMD is my favorite, but they don't sell it at Ulta.

EltaMD is my favorite, but they don't sell it at Ulta. I agree. I do also like Tula’s Protect and Glow, but it occasionally pills when you apply foundation if you don’t let it dry for a few min before application.

EltaMD is great but for half the price, I like this one better. It is amazing! Facial SunscreenI use Australian Gold too and really like it, but it's tinted and IME, doesn't play well under makeup. If the color isn't right for you, or you want more coverage, it's not a great choice. I use EltaMD if I'm wearing some kind of foundation and Australian Gold if its (light) coverage is enough for what I want that day.

My EltaMD is also tinted.

I like Neutrogena Healthy Skin Glow Shears, $12.79 at Target. However, I’m a makeup minimalist and don’t wear makeup over it, just add a little mascara.

I use Olay Regenerist SPF 15 as a daily moisturizer with or without makeup. But the CC cream I wear as foundation most days (IT Cosmetics CC+) also has an SPF of 50.
If I'm going to be out in the sun for quite a while, I use a mineral-based sunscreen for face. Not picky about the brand. I also wear a hat.

I like Farmacy's sunscreen, but they've reformulated it, so I haven't tried the new version yet.
I did try the Drunk Elephant untinted version a few weeks ago, and it was much better than I remember. The only caveat is that it will pill horribly if any of your other skincare products or makeup contains silicone.
Good luck!

I use the Cerave anti-aging moisturizer with SPF 30 everyday. This is what I use too. I stopped wearing foundation when Covid hit and just use this.

If I know I’m going to be in the sun I like This one I could wear it daily and sometimes do in the summer. For daily wear I use Ceravae moisturizer with sunscreen.

Are you using the red bottle spf 30? For the face, it is a blue bottle. For the body it is the purple/lavender bottle. Extra care non-greasy sunscreen spf 50. FWIW, I was listening to a podcast yesterday and a dermatologist said that in order to get the correct spf that your moisturizer or foundation says it has, you would need to use a ton of it. For sunscreen you need 1/4-1/2tsp for the face.

EltaMD is great but for half the price, I like this one better. It is amazing! Facial SunscreenI will have to try that. I mix the Elta MD untinted with a tiny bit of the tinted version right now. The tinted version doesn’t match my skin, but mixing them works. I like the idea of a cheaper alternative.
