Update 12/29: It's being delivered TOMORROW!! Ahhhhh!!! It's gonna kill me to have it right there in the yard and not be able to really do much with it because it's so dang cold(and we're expecting snow on Saturday!). Although, I can always measure, and dream! LOL I'll post some pics once it's here!
It will be delivered in the next couple of weeks!! It's not finished inside, so it's a blank canvas!! I need to research and see what works/doesn't work for others who have craft sheds for climate control, flooring, organization, etc., etc.!
Any suggestions?? Pics??
I'm so excited!!!! I want to work on it ASAP so it's ready for me to move my stuff into a bit at a time when the weather is better (I'm in Iowa)!

Oh, I desperately wanted to build a clubhouse (aka "shed") as a family project when the pandemic started. Part of the draw was that my kids were older and when they abandoned it, *I* could take it over as my own!!!! So happy for you!

After I had heat and air conditioning, I'd check out the local Home Depot and look for some good sturdy cupboards. Once you put in walls and storage, the space tends to get pretty small.

I've always had an obsession with tiny homes, enjoy!!! I wonder if there's a cheap/quick/easy way to insulate and then just get an A/C Heater combo!

Living where we do, it would need to be on 24/7, because of heat/cold but also because of the dust from our country roads.

Sounds great but I'd first of all make sure every single crack was sealed because of spiders. I wouldn't be able to relax until that was done because I have a spider phobia and they're always waiting somewhere for me. Sheds are terrifying places for me. 😬
Then I'd get the walls painted, then flooring, then storage and craft surfaces, then a portable heat/AC unit.
I eagerly await photos!

I'd be all over google and Pinterest looking at She-sheds. What a treat to be able to create your own craft cottage.

YAY!!! I'd LOVE a she-shed (as my husband calls it a "bitch barn" and the we laugh because it would be true for me).
Windows for as much natural light as possible Cabinets below with countertops on at least 3 walls A sink! Cabinets above for storage (might have to scale the windows down or work around them) Under cabinet lighting for tasks heating/ac a chandelier because why not? a fun sign on the door with the name of your space a porch
ok... I want a she HOUSE not a shed. LOL

How big is your she-shed? All I keep imagining is a glorified tool shed getting smaller and smaller inside, as you put all your craft stuff in. Maybe I should go look at pinterest also.
ETA: Oh wow, there are some very nice ones. I want to see pictures too when you are done!

LOL That's a FABULOUS size! OMG! And it had a porch!!!!! You MUST get a chandelier! If you do cabinets around the bottom of the 20' sides and one of the 10' sides, you'd have SO MUCH counter space and storage! OMG! Figure base cabinets stick out 2' and if you do them on the 20' sides, that still gives you 6' in the middle for walking and moving space. You can do a built in desk on the 10' side opposite the entry (I'm assuming that's on a 10' side). I'm so excited for you!!!!

That's so exciting!
I also have a shed, but it's filled to the brim with goodness knows what junk, and I couldn't get into it if I tried. I actually opened the door the other day to find something, but decided against it when I saw all the spider webs. I'm not afraid of spiders per se, but I don't want them dropping onto my head, and I have a feeling there will be some deadly redbacks in there somewhere.
I hope you come back and share photos of your she-shed when it's all set up.
