Can I celebrate that? My mom passed and Covid numbers are crazy and the fires in Boulder (we had been in this area in November for my nieces' wedding) really makes me feel like FU 2021.

I hope nobody expects 2022 to be any different/better. We’re in for more of the same.

I hear you.
It's been a rough couple of years. I'm sorry you're hurting.

Every year has it's highs and lows. That is just how life works.

Sending big hugs to you! I'm sorry for the loss of your mom. Wildfires suck and this one in Boulder moving so quickly through a residential area sucks more than most, with so little warning.
Personally there is much I dislike / hate about the happenings of 2021.
There was also a magical wedding week for our daughter's wedding to her fab partner of 11 years, in a redwood grove at sunrise, and the 7 days spent with our closest loved ones who traveled to be with us, including our son whom we hadn't seen for 22 months!

I'll join you. My friend died of Covid in May and I'm going through a divorce.
I'm hoping 2022 is better.

I’m sorry you lost your Mum ((hugs)) I lost mine in 2020 during Covid restrictions. Amid those things can you look back and find any good spots to focus on?

I'm sorry. I lost my mother this past year as well. It was definitely a tough year.
